Dani's POV

I've never given much thought about my future.

Back in my hometown, I was a part of the outcast clique.  We never fit in anywhere except with ourselves, and it was a beautiful thing.  Everyone expressed themselves uniquely; however, everyone thought of us as "weird" or "geeks" because we thought outside the box.  Back then, those words hurt.

We saw art differently with passion, precision, and beauty.  It wasn't something you looked at just to look at it.  We all understood it, yet we created our own art to express our hidden emotions.  There was a tattoo artist among us, a musician, a gamer, and even a couple of pro skaters.  I was good with technology but also a people person, and that helped me out so much in the end.

I've never given much thought about my future. . .until I made a random YouTube account my senior year of high school.

I never imagined it would open so many doors for me.  My subscribers gradually grew with each 'let's play' I'd finish.  So much hard work was put into each video, and it paid off in the long run.  My hobby turned into my career, yet I'll always think about the lost girl in high school.

She thought college was the way to go, and it is for some people. . .but not for her.  When she branched away from education to pursue her passion, her mood changed.  She finally regained a purpose in life; she was happier and more optimistic.

As I stare at the city lights reflect off the sky, I can't help but wonder what would've happened if I never started a YouTube account all those years ago.

"Dani," Parker's voice pulled me back into reality.  "Dani, where are you?  Everything okay?"  His hands slid around my hips while pulling me closer to him.  He had a drunken smile on face that was inexplicably adorable.

My hands grabbed onto the front of his open button up shirt.  "Everything is more than perfect, handsome."  Our lips collided in a brief passion that faded my senses.  In that moment, it was just him and I.

When our lips parted, I heard someone clear their throat loudly behind me.

"Sorry to interrupt.  I have someone who would love to meet you," Lora yelled over the music.  She wore a black tank top, ripped jeans, and high tops accompanied by a Gucci belt.  Lora always owns everything she wears.

Her motto is "I'm a staahhh" or "I'm a boss", and honestly it was very annoying at first

Her motto is "I'm a staahhh" or "I'm a boss", and honestly it was very annoying at first.  Since we grew closer these last two days of the con, its grown on me.  She constantly reminds myself to continue to chase my dreams because they're not going to come to me on a golden platter.  Lora constantly lifts me up and reminds me I'm a "stahh" and a queen.  For someone who has been through so much, she's very optimistic.  We all have to give her credit for the woman she's slowly becoming.

"Who," Parker asked.  Parker and Lora have kept their relationship very casual.  They don't talk much only because Parker claims its awkward between them now.  He forgave Lora for everything, but he can't seem to forget.  He's still very cautious around her.
