PART 7

After few days (DURGA SAPTAMI)

Morning (8:30 am)
Rishab and Prerna decreased the stairs. All the other members of house are already present there.
Rishab and Prerna both are looking perfect with their matching clothes choosed by Kukki.
Prerna is dressed up in a Royal Blue saree draped in Bengali style. Rishab is in Black kurta paired with a Blue prince jacket and Black Jodhpuri pant.
After 5 minutes or so Prerna's family comes there as well. Rishab and Prerna welcome them. Other guests are also started coming.

Anurag is going towards Prerna for doing Aarti with her but Rishab over past him and stood beside Prerna. They do the Aarti and Prerna gave Aarti to everyone.

Prerna is doing some work when Kukki came near her. Prerna bend down and she is talking with her when Kukki accidentally pulled her Mangalsutra and it's broken.
Everyone started whispering about it and Prerna is verge of crying. Rishab comes there bend down in front her.

"Prerna" Rishab called slowly.
"Rishab, it's broken. Rishab Mangalsutra tutna acha nehi hota hai. Ab kya hoga?" says Prerna
Rishab cupped her face "Prerna kuch nehi hota hai, galti se tut gaya. It's ok, stop worrying about it." he says and wiped her tear.
"You don't understand. It's not good. Kuch bura hone wala hai, agar aap ko kuch..." Prerna trails off in the middle.
"Wifey, you are over thinking about it. Nothing is going to happen. Aapko Mangalsutra hin chahiye na. Wait a minute..." saying this Rishab pick some black beads and make it look like a bracelet. He ties it on her wrist.
"Now happy." ask Rishab and Prerna nods.
Rishab stand up and extend his hand for Prerna, she held it and get up.

After 20 minutes
Prerna is upstairs she is going towards store room when Anurag come and stand in front of her.
"Prerna tumne Mr. Bajaj shaadi Kukki wajah se ki thi right, but look aaj Kukki ne hin tumhara Mangalsutra tod diya." says Anurag.
"Anurag, Kukki ne galti se Mangalsutra tod diya." says Prerna.
"Kuch bhi ho Prerna par yeh toh socho ki yeh sab Durga Maa ka ishara hai ki tumhe mere paas laut aana chahiye. Kal tumne Aarti mere saath kiya aur aaj tumhara Mangalsutra tut gaya. Tum samjho Prerna." says Anurag.
"Anurag samjhne ki jarurat tumhe hai mujhe nehi. Woh Mangalsutra Mere aur Rishab ke shaadi ki nishani hai, shaadi nehi hai hamari. Uske tutne se hamari shaadi nehi tutegi aur na hin hum dono usse tutne denge. Toh barbar yeh sab mat kaho." Prerna says in a little bit angry voice. She is fed up with all this act of Anurag.
"Prerna sehi keh rahi hai Mr. Basu." Rishab says from behind.
Rishab comes, stands beside Prerna and wrapped his arm around her shoulder.
"Hamara rishta itna najuk nehi hai ki Mangalsutra tutne se rishta tut jayega. Yeh rishta na hin hum todenge, na hin kisiko todne denge. Right wifey." Rishab look at Prerna and asked her.
Prerna smiled and nodded.
