The first and sadly, only day, of TwitchCon Australia had finally rolled around, the last two days leading up to the convention were relatively quiet, apart from Fae freaking out every time one of her streamers would post a photo of them in Sydney. Somehow my mind kept going back to that guy from 2 days ago, why hadn't I looked up at him ????

Ah, yet another regrettable life choice

I thought to myself.

I really am such an idiot though, that was really fkn embarrassing.

Shaking off the thought I started to get ready. Todays outfit is a bit of a banger, a blue, fitted cropped tee and a white, silk lace trimmed mini skirt. I eyed myself in the mirror and gave myself a smirk taking in my incredible fashion sense. I went to put on my make up, maybe a little more than usual today, it is an event after all, I may as well look my best and take a couple of photos while I'm there.

Not wanting to drive, Fae and I ended up taking a bus to the convention centre. A line stretched out the front of the building snaking down the road, around 30 people or so we're gathered in pairs in front of us. I let out a deep sigh knowing that we would have to wait for a little while before we would even be able to get in. Soon enough we had made to the barriers ready to be scanned and given entry to the thankfully air-conditioned building.

We began to wonder for a bit, looking at different selections of panels and more. I'd really never seen Fae so excited, she pulled me around the floor with our arms linked with one another. Everywhere we went I would get a little comment from her. Some comments include;

This is a gaming set up!!!

Ive learnt simple coding but this is so advanced! Just look at this Irie

I think i could have set up that booth better! No hate though!! It's all wonderful :D

I loved seeing how excited and enthusiastic she was, it really was a sight to see her this happy over something she was truely passionate about.

"Whats the time?" Fae asked sheepishly.

"Uh, it's about 3:40" I replied glancing down at my phone

"We need to go line up! Quickly" There was a panic and urgency in Fae's voice that made me hurry along with her to the most anticipated, meet&greet.

"There they are, I think I'm going to throw up Irie" I chuckled a bit at her statement until I realised she was being serious, the nerves had caught up to her and she had entered a mode of panic. I put my hand on her shoulder giving her a knowing smile.

"You're going to do great, they'll love you" I whispered to her. She replied with a small nod and a narrow smile, her eyebrows still furrowed. The line began to pick up speed and before we knew it we had made it to the first streamer. Fae took her composure and in a strong stride she wondered up to the first person in line. He was a shorter lanky boy, possibly 5"8, he had a longer face and short dark brown hair and spoke out in a British accent.

"Hello! Whats your name?" He questioned looking down at my sister.

"My name is Faelyn mister GeorgeNotFound! It's Spelt F-a-e-l-y-n."

George giggled at her seriousness while spelling out her name.

"You have a beautiful name Faelyn." He smiled

"Whos this?" He asked looking at Fae and nodding towards me.

"Thats my sister! She bought me the tickets, her names Iris!" Taking a step closer I leant in to shake his hand.

"You must be George?? Right? Sorry..." I rubbed the back of my neck "I'm not super familiar with this whole, streamer thing n stuff"

"No! Thats ok! And I am, you must be Iris" He looked down at Faelyn giving her a grin then looked back to me.
