Stalking through the rows of books I stopped, peering through the gap between 2 potions books. A strand of platinum blonde hair caught my attention a split second went by before a pair of grey-blue eyes stared back at me. The eyes widened and stepped back, then to the side out of view. Draco then walked to the row of books I was in.

"So, are you stalking me now?" I asked to him aloud, not looking at him just yet as my eyes landed on the book I came here for. I was currently in a Hogsmade book shop, looking for a potions book I needed for, well, personal reasons.

"Why would I ever stalk you?" he spoke, venom lacing his words as I flipped through the first pages of the book. He was looking at me as if expecting for me to look him in the eyes while he was talking.

"Studying for Herbology? You know the class that you talked about hating," I pried after eyeing the book in his hands, finally peering up to his prideful gaze.

"That doesn't mean I don't have to study for it, I still am forced to take the class," I smirked at him, a small chuckle escaping my plump lips.

"I'm just messing with you Malfoy," I turned on my heels, strolling over to the check-out counter, leaving Draco to sit with his thoughts as they paralyzed him in one place, his eyes watching me go. After paying, I walked out of the store to see Pansy speaking with Blaise, whom we had just met a few months prior. "Hey there Zabini," I greeted, walking up to the pair.

"Just the girl I needed," he started, swinging his lengthy arm over my shoulders. "So, steps to a Babbling Beverage."

"And why exactly do you need to know this?" I questioned him, shrugging his arm off of me, afraid it was what I thought it was.

"Longbottom," he answers truthfully.

"You're gonna kill that poor kid one day, give him a break," I lectured the boy who's height has proven to be a weapon for him. With his constant tease of my 5'3 stature.

"Your no fun at all, are you?" He playfully joked, placing his elbow on my head as if I was an arm rest.

"We all know I'd be expelled if I had what you guys call 'fun'," I pushed his elbow off my head, looking up at the boy. Eyes were always on me to catch anything bad enough to put in the press. Tarnishing my fathers and my name was not on my current to-do list.

"Yeah, yeah," he droned on, flopping his hand as if to shoo away a fly before walking off. "Cya Pansy, bye Lilly." I waved, a small smile on my face, and walked in the opposite direction toward The Three Broomsticks. I have been craving butterbeer for the past hour. I heard Pansy's hurried footsteps behind me as I carried my book and hustled to the wooden building. The bell rang as I opened the door and went to a empty table, Pansy collapsed on the opposite side of the table into a chair.

"Bloody hell you walk fast," she managed to say between catching her breath. A kind, bright-faced waitress cheerfully walked towards our table, shoving a few galleons into her pocket from the last customer.

"What can I get for you two today," she started before 3 people sat at our table with us.

"Make it 5," Draco hastily remarked as him, Crabbe, and Goyle settled into the seats next to Pansy and Draco took a seat next to me.

"I'll take a butterbeer," I said kindly to the woman.

"Hot or cold?" She replied sweetly, as she smiled her teeth were pearly white and perfectly straight, she had light brown hair and hazel eyes, the light creases in her forehead giving her the look of late twenties to early thirties.

"Hot please," I smiled back at her.

"Me too," Draco said to the woman. As the rest of them all agreed with 'same here' and 'me too'.

"I knew you were following me!" I said to Draco as the lady walked away. "Once is chance, twice is coincidence, third time is a pattern!" Quoting the sentence from a muggle book I had quite recently read.

"When did you get to 3?" He questioned looking toward me. "Last time I checked it was twice if you count now."

"I saw you watching me from across the path Malfoy. When I was talking to Pansy and Blaise. You must have fell out of your paralyzed state when I left you standing there catching flies, " I fired at him as the lady came back with the butterbeers. We thanked her and Draco drummed his fingers against the glass not saying anything.

"Are you going to defend yourself?" I questioned taking a long sip of butterbeer. I'm pretty sure daggers were firing rapidly out of my eyes, now furious because he was ignoring me. What did I do? He's the one consistently following me and stalking me! I should be the one ignoring him! Chugging down the rest of my butterbeer I slammed the cup down on the table placing a galleon down. The waitress was just walking over, and I looked over at her. "Keep the change," I smiled at her softly as if to convey telepathically she was not the one I was enraged at. She nodded and I walked out, the bell ringing as I walked away from The Three Broomsticks.

I heard the bell ring again and footsteps pattering in a swift, rhythmic motion after me and when they caught up, they shoved me in the alleyway pinning me against the wall. I looked the person in the eyes to see a long unseen platinum blonde's grey eyes staring into mine.

"Never talk to me like that again, you understand, love?" I said nothing and stared into his eyes looking for some sort of weakness.

"You're father did this to you didn't he?" His eyes softened for a moment and went cold again, a sign of hurt that he never necessarily showed.

"Never talk about my father," he scrunched his nose in disgust at me.

"He made you like this though, right? Raised you to be a little bitch!" I yelled in his face. He flinched a little and stepped back in a fit of pure shock, so I swiftly stepped out of the alley, feeling awful about what I had said.
