Ailbert walked with his head hung low, but he asked.

"Dumbledore helped you apparat?"

"Yeah" I exhaled, finally catching up to him, he sure walked fast, "But I hid behind the trash can much to my dismay"
He chuckled, and looked at me.
His eyes were brimming with tears.
I stopped him from walking, putting my hand on his back.

"We'll find her okay?" I said, he sobbed, "Together, I promise you Ailbert, but please don't get hurt, if I wasn't there-... Curcio is no joke Ailbert"

"I know Ivangel" he grabbed me in a hug, I rested my head on his chest, listening to his heartbeat.
"But how were you able to do it?"

How was I able to do it for the first time? I asked myself.

"I was scared I was going to lose you" I whispered, "I've never done it, but seeing you almost hurt like that, it came out"

"Come on" he said patting my head, "Let's go back home"
And with that, we both walked to his house.

I spent The day with him, I cleaned and made a meal for him, and after that, it was late night when I got back to Hogwarts, and immediately went to sleep.

Christmas morning dawned, Cold and white. I was woken up early by Eva, who was scratching at my door.
I got up, freshened up and wore a long black with sleeves dress.
I fixed my bangs and put my hair in a braid.
I looked at my self in the mirror.
The dress wasn't tight but you can see some grown figures.
My skin was clear as always.

As I put on accessories, I noticed Draco's bracelet.
Today is officially a year since he has given it to me.
And almost 6 months of us not talking.
I decided to wear it today.
As I put it on, I felt a foreign emotion come through me.
I exhaled and left my room.

In the Great Hall.
Literally no one was there.
Just me.
And Snape who was sitting in the big chairs.
He greeted me with a nod, I nodded back.
Eva jumped on my lap, relaxing as I fed her as well.

"I guess no presents for us this year Eva huh?"

She purred as I pet her.
I knew Charlton wouldn't be able to afford a gift for me, nor that Olivia's parent would let her send something, and I doubt Alex would buy me something.
And Draco.
Why would he buy me anything?

Later on that day, everyone gathered for the feast. The Great Hall looked magnificent. Not only were there a dozen frost-covered Christmas trees and thick streamers of holly and mistletoe crisscrossing the ceiling, but enchanted snow was falling, warm and dry, from the ceiling. Dumbledore led them in a few of his favorite carols, Hagrid booming more and more loudly with every goblet of eggnog he consumed. Percy, who hadn't noticed that Fred had bewitched his prefect badge so that it now read "Pinhead," kept asking them all what they were sniggering at. Harry didn't even care that Draco Malfoy was making loud, snide remark about his new sweater from the Slytherin table.

But Ivy couldn't smile.

All I kept thinking about was Draco was once my friend.
And the one time he was able to stat in Hogwarts.
He's not my friend.
I looked down on my hand.
A certain green crystal shining.

Suddenly my attention drifted to Hermione who was ushering Ron and Harry hurriedly outside.

I got up and followed after them, making sure to stay quiet and close enough to listen.
Once I was close enough, I started listening.

"I've got it all worked out," Hermione said. She held up two plump chocolate cakes. "I've filled these with a simple Sleeping Draught. All you have to do is make sure Crabbe and Goyle find them. You know how greedy they are, they're bound to eat them. Once they're asleep, pull out a few of their hairs and hide them in a broom closet."
