Raveness P.O.V
I walked back and forth in the empty room. Just afew hours ago, I had grabbed a knife from a guard and chopped my hair. They had found me, in the room, and thought I would kill myself, so they put a strait jacket on me.
My newly chopped hair was all in my face, blocking my evil smile. I was forming a plan to kill that bitch. He deserves to die, since he killed my best friend. I will get him back, even if it takes me forever.
I don't care if Claire loves him, he killed the only person I actually liked, next to Lloyd. After I got out of this hell house, Jordan Gillfer better watch out. He will pay for what he has done....
I was sitting down on the cushiony floor, when the door opened. Two guards came in, and a short girl walked in. She also wore a strait jacket, her long red hair all in her face. Her pale skin making her blue eyes pop out. The guards pushed her in and left, locking the door behind them. Who is this chick? and why is she here?
She walked over next to me and sat down, staring into my grey eyes. I side glance at her and notice freckles. All her face was covered with those tiny freckles.
The sound of our breathing is the only thing I hear. As I look at this mysterious chick, I notice her crazy eyes, she was now staring at the door as if wanting a way out. Her breaths quicken and her eyes become wild.
Then, she gasps and leans on the wall, staring at the ceiling. I could sense that she wants to calm down, but doesn't have the ability. She gasps again, and this time, it's all raspy and dry. I swallow hard and then, a dark skinned lady, a nurse I suppose, walks in, holding a clip board.
"Raveness come." she shines her white teeth at me and leads me out of that room. As I glance back at the girl, I see her wild eyes staring at me then the door. She wants out. Wonder how many years she's been here...
I waddle, yes waddle like a penguin, next to the nurse and as she locks the room, I hear screaming from some rooms, especially the one I just left.
We walk for awhile, then we come to a room, that's empty and different. When I walk in, she locks the door and turns to me. The only light on was the light bulb that was hanging from the long table. The curtains were closed and we were the only people in the room.
A small silver plate sat on the table, full of scissors that were large and farely sharp. The pair of scissors layed on the plate, all alone. The table had large, black straps on both sides.
The nurse walks next to the table and places the clipboard on the table, and picks up the scissors. She grabs a towel and cleans it, very slowly.
"Now, this is a test, to see if you will stay here or if you can go, safely. I will set you free of that strait jacket and will ask you some questions. If you start to go out of control, then you will have to have the strait jacket and will stay here longer, but if you communicate and respond to me, then you'll only have to be here for two more days, or until Claire thinks your safe." she explains.
"How will you know if I'm just communicating with you because I want out?" I ask, very eager to get out of this thing.
"Some people are very, you know, wrong in the brain, that they don't know what's happening or they just don't care. A few, they actually communicate because they understand that we want to help. We are on your side. Now come, so I can take that off." she walks towards me, and I get a little scared, but let her cut the strait jacket off.
When released, I move my arms all around and let them soak in the freedom and fresh air. The nurse beckons me to sit next to her, so I do. She gets her clipboard and writes something down.
"Now, what exactly happened, what led you to trying to get Jordan?" I sit on my chair, wanting out all of asudden, but somehow, I controlled my frustration and explained to her that Jordan killed my best friend.
She nods and stares at me, after I explained what happened,"I see, but do you actually know why he killed her? or were you so frustrated with yourself, for not being there, that you took it out on Jordan?" I stare, not wanting to respond.
I was mainly furious that Jordan killed her, but also with myself. I could've prevented that from happening if only I had gone, but Claire specifically told me to stay until I calmed down. I stayed in my room with Lloyd, thinking that something was going to go wrong, and it did.
The nurse seems to know what I was thinking because she nodded as if it were imprinted on my forehead . Lloyd says that I'm very predictable.
"It's normal. I went through the same thing when I was your age. I'm afraid we are going to have to keep you here longer because we don't trust you alone, you might go and kill Jordan." she got up and set her clip board down. Before we left, she turned to me and said, "This morning Lloyd came and told us that you would try and kill Jordan so he said that we should keep you here for awhile longer."
Lloyd didn't trust me? I was so confused and furious I didn't know what to do. I could feel my face burning and my heart beat getting faster. Everyone had betrayed me. The next thing I knew, the nurse was on the floor, her chest soaked with blood. Her gasps quickend, then silence. I heard a ringing, that was annoying.
Then, footsteps. Fast ones and many. Then, when I looked down, I realized that I had just killed a nurse. I don't know why, but I felt proud of myself. I smiled, grimly and got onto the hall.
Everyone was running and when I turned back, the nurse was covered with dark blood.
I noticed some other nurses and some people getting out. Then I recognized a face, that girl that in the room, my roommate.
She wasn't in a strait jacket no more, she was running at top speed, a tall red haired girl behind, firing at random people. People fell and soon, the floors were covered with blood.
My roommate found me and smiled. Her eyes were all wild. She grabbed my wrist and lead me out of the hospital, the other woman close behind. Some mental survivors ran for cover and soon, the whole place was in chaos. Since we were still in resistant territory, we were wanted.
At least I now had an alliance and was free from that death trap and Jordan Gillfer, you better watch your back...
