James wakes up. He looks around. It's pitchblack. He takes a step forwards and hits hit foot against something. He gets down on the ground and tries to find the object he hit his foot against. It appears to be a flashlight. He turns it on and scouts the area around him now that it is not unending darkness. He seems to be in a cave, yet he does not feel cold. He continues his way on what he assumes to be forwards. The cave is dead silent. He hears nothing but his own footsteps. James feels nothing. Not scared, not confused, not happy or sad. Nothing. After walking for what felt like no time at all he sees that the cave appears to get tighter. He stops. He has to crawl to get through the very tight path. James gets down on the ground and starts crawling. The pointy stones on the ground dig and cut into his flesh as he does so. The ground beneath him bloody. But he feels nothing. He can finally stand up again. He looks around. He finds himself in a big cave. But even though its size, he sees nothing but grey stone and black void. He continues forwards. He stops. Infront of him a large black pillar. He touches it. He feels nothing. The pillar is not cold, not hot, not smooth, not rough. He goes past the pillar. He stops at a stone wall. The stone wall has a massive hole in it. He tries to shine his flashlight into the hole. Nothing happens. He sits down on the ground. He shines his flashlight into the hole again. This time, at a speed that can not be described multiple black tentacle-like structures move out of the hole. They grab onto the sides of the hole. One grabs James and pulls him into the hole. James still incapable of feeling anything. He has not formed a single thought. He has not spokes a single word. Even if he tried to open his mouth, nothing woud come out. He has been following a path. A path he didn't think about. He could not see in the never ending darkness without the flashlight. He did not care about the wounds he endured from the cave. Any cut or bruise does not hurt. The blood gushing out of his many wounds felt like nothing. The blood was not warm. It did not smell. James did not feel a single thing. No emotions, no pain, nothing. The tentacles pull him closer and closer to his destination. A destination that he does not know about.
The tentacles stop moving. He lights up his flashlight and shines it infront of him. He sees the face of the creature that pulled him here. His destination was nothing. His journey was nothing. He stares into the creatures face. And all he sees isnothing.
