Chapter 6.

     "heyy peopleee, you know what day today is?"

Zizi said in her usual cheery self.

"She's always the lively one" Jade said under her breath.

"Erm guys, you heard from Marcos?
I can't seem to get hold of him, and I don't feel good"
she added in a worried tone.

Nope we all said.

Now to you young lady, spill it..what's up? I said to Zizi

"Well, it's.... drumroll.." 

she mimicked drumming and we looked at her drama each of us obviously bored.

"Today's Movie T( movie Thursday)"
     Suddenly realization hits the rest of us and Mckenzie said

" yeah it's been a while ladies" and winksd at me.

I don't know why, but I know something went down while I was unconscious but they're refusing to let me in.

Whose house we doing it?
My house, I say, after all  it's been a while so it's on me , I added.

They shared glances at each other and nodded in the affirmative.

See you guys at 8, text me when you're on your way.

We said our goodbyes and we left taking our separate ways.

     "Mom, I'm home, I said, she raised her head and asked how school was. I told her of today's plans with my friends, she smiled and said she'd order a take-in before she left for her shift.

"Erm mom, have we ever travelled by air before?"

I asked and mom dropped the dishes, startling me, I raised a brow and asked again and she just nodded in the negative but something seemed off.
I mean, I was just asking cause it felt like we've had a trip or two on by plane before. Sighs

Just as I was about to probe with further questions , the butler, Sir Link announced the presence of my friends somehow saving my mom but as she turned to leave I think or just maybe just maybe..

I imagined her releasing a breath and spotted a tear.. but why?
should she be bothered by this anyways, I mean..
My thoughts are distracted, when I heard Zizi screaming at the top of her voice because Mom had ordered take-ins.

I realized Jade seemed a bit quieter than usual and besides her head wasn't buried in a book so obviously something was up, I moved to her first ..
Jade , what's wrong?
       ...I question her
"I don't know Cia, honestly I don't "  she says,
I just have this bad feeling about Marcos, and I've been having this weird dream or more like a flashback of that day..
she adds in a whisper and I shudder..
before I could say anything to assure her,
We heard a phone ringing in my closet,
we share horrified looks, walking towards the sound,
I guess we all had one thing on our mind..

This can't be, the promise before that tragic death..
