Cia's P.O.V

"Success..-? , were you able to get the tape..-? "

These and many questions were posed at Zizi , who had a bright smile plastered on her face , and for some reason an irresistible glow.

It's been four weeks and we've not had any headway.
We just hope that this tape leads us somewhere.

" relax all of you " Zizi started
and with that being said , she had 3 pair of eyes staring back at her with full concentration.

Without mincing words she began dramatically as usual,
" thank you, thank you my dearest friends for trus..-"
" just get on with it , will you ?"
Jade snapped and Zizi's smile fell , but she tried to mask it up and failed miserably.

Finding what Jade did wrong, I went off.

" you can't just snap at her you know?
Just because Marcos was your lover doesn't mean we don't care as much as you do.
If I think back , he's the reason we're in this mess. Our first miscreant deed was somehow sorted maybe , but you and him? Pfftt you didn't tell the rest of us about Tonya's death .
I'm just hoping this is only about Tonya's else..-"

"Enough ladies " Mckenzie broke in.
women he murmured under his breath, sighs.

Zizi cleared her throat to gain our attention, she proceeded to take something out from her bag , but not before throwing me a wink.

She placed her sweater on the table and stared at the rest of us.

I cocked my brow at her questionly, as if asking
What the hell sister,chuckles

"Here dumbos "
she said as she unwrapped her sweater and there in her hands was the tape.

Jade stood up quickly and grabbed it from her,
I realized she wanted to watch it then and then , but school wasn't going to be over yet .

Now here comes the big question, now what?

" Jade ..- I called out quietly so as to not draw any attention from the other kids.
"..how about we sneak out?" I said as I smirked mischievously.

As if they were waiting for this , they all grabbed their stuff and in less than 2 minutes they had gathered everything.
And sooner rather than later we were jumping over the wall we passed through 3 days ago.

Adventurous, sighs.
Few meters away from the school, Jade questioned,

" so where are we going to now?"

" we can't possibly go to either of our homes " Mckenzie added.

" how about the Internet cafe down the street?"

Zizi chirps in her usual tone, apparently she had recovered from the blast.

With that we started trekking since we had snuck out, we couldn't get Mckenzie to drive .

After a while of century of walking, talking and whining
Mckenzie who was in front stopped abruptly.

"What the hell man ? " I said sounding a bit er..- I mean I was exhausted.

He didn't seem affected, just rolled his eyes and said 12 o'clock guys.

" it's already 12?", " which one too is that?"
Jade and I said at the same time , earning a chuckle and a face palm from Zizi.

" well it means check your parameter in a..- "
he was cut short.

"Cut the long talk dude, it means one way or the other , we're being tailed people " Zizi said
"and oh , do play Call of duty "
she finished off.

And true to their words ,2 black cars were behind us as Jade and I discreetly turned to watch.

" are they from school? " I asked , panick clearly highlighted in my voice .

" yes of course Cia, principal Winters has all the time to send 2 not 1 car to fetch us just for skipping class, Congratulations on solving this mystery "

Mckenzie said Sarcasm leaking from every words he said .

Tears began to form but I blinked them away as I was interrupted when Zizi said
" whatever dude, It could possibly be the tape they're after my dear Cia " she ended as she nudged an elbow into my side earning a faint smile.
Let's hurry we've got to see what's on it before they get get their hands on it.
