******** 5 MONTHS LATER*******

Beatrice is now ten months old. She is walking and saying a few basic words.

I have asked Bailey two times before to marry me, but both times she said no.

Beatrice is officially our child now, and the whole college found out as soon as the word got relased.

I am going to take Bailey out to the football field tonigt, and ask her once again, to marry me.

I have a good feeling about it this time. I have waited five months, and I think it is finally time to keep her in my life forever.

I focus back on Coach Bielema talking.

********

I walk inside our small apartment.

Beatrice runs over to me, and latches on to my leg.

"Hey, pretty girl! What are you up to?"

I scan the apartment.

Bailey is not in the living room or kitchen, and I don't hear her in either of the bedrooms.

"Where is Mommy?" I ask Bea, like she is actually going to answer me.

Bailey comes out of the bedroom.

"Hey Brooks. Sorry, I was cleaning in the room."

I walk over and kiss her.

"How was practice?" She asks me.

"Great!"

"Good."

I follow her into the kitchen, and grab her hands before they can start cleaning the countertops.

"Bailey, I have a surprise for you tonight. Would you like to go?'

Her eyes shine.

"Sure! But, what about Beatrice?"

I loo behind me to the little girl, playing with her doll.

"RaeAnne and Austin can watch her." I say.

"Okay. I will go!"

******* THE FOOTBALL FIELD

I walk Bailey out to the middle of the field.

She looks around at the empty seats.

"I can't wait until football season, Brooks. I can't wait to be here and cheer you guys along."

Her back is to me, and I take this as my oppurtunity.

I pull the ring out of is box, and get down on one knee.

She turns back around, and gasps.

"Bailey, I want to spend the rest of my life with you. From the first time that I saw you in the gym, I knew you were the one for me. I don't want anyone but you," I hold the ring up to her. "Bailey, will you marry me?"

Tears are falling down her cheeks, and she smiles.

"Yes. I will."

I stand up, and slide the ring onto her finger.

She kisses me, and we walk back to the truck to tell the world that Bailey finally agreed to marry me.
