Psyche's POV
Hangovers typically suck. But I was grateful for the one I had this morning, it convinced me that the events of last night were very real and not just a dream. Last night, I had met my seventh soulmate, the one and only Tony Stark.
It was all like a dream, that I was so close to meeting all my mates. It sort of confused me... what would happen once I encountered all of them? I tried not to let the thought get me too much though. I ultimately decided that I would cross that bridge when I finally came to it.
At the moment though, I had just taken an advil even though I didn't really need it. Witches tend to get over hangovers fairly quick I've noticed. It was a Saturday, which meant I had the day off. I was grateful for it, I'd worked so much this entire week that I felt a nice weekend would certainly do me some good.
I wasn't sure what to do today, so I decided to return my book on Cosmic Witchcraft to the magical library and perhaps get a new one. But first, I needed some coffee in my system, because I'd barely gotten any sleep since I returned home from the party at around 2am in the morning. Witches got tired too.
I recalled the fact that there was a starbucks very close to the library, and decided that I would just drop by there.
I started my morning by hopping in the shower immediately, I rarely ate breakfast at home because my routine was so busy. I usually ended up getting a croissant or bagel from a cafe or coffee shop on the way. Although I was not in a rush this particular morning, I didn't eat out of habit.
After that, I got dressed in some casual clothing. Just a plain white tee shirt and some jean shorts paired with white vans (see outfit above). I let my hair down as I usually did and embraced my natural beauty by just putting on some light lip gloss. After that, I grabbed a small white shoulder bag that was large enough to comfortably fit my book in. I didn't want to go around flaunting my book in public out of fear that regular civilians would see the title, guess what it was about and question it.
When I was finally ready, I locked my apartment and left the building, greeting some of my neighbors on the way. It was a SHIELD owned building, meaning that everybody living in there was a shield agent, mutant or non human... or maybe even all three like me I guess. There was a skrull family 6 doors down who I waved at and they waved back. My colleague Melinda May who lived right next door to me shot me a kind smile and I returned it.
When I was downstairs, I decided to walk as my destination wasn't too far off. That was the advantage of living near Central Park, everything was at your convenience. I enjoyed the city views, the tall buildings contrasted against the greenery of the large park and I smiled at the beauty enveloping me.
I loved New York.
Sam's POV
"Where are you going?" asked a familiar and annoying voice behind me. I turned my head, rolling my eyes, "Out" I replied. My eyes were greeted with the sight of a very sweaty Bucky Barnes, crossing his arms and staring at me. A bunch of us Avengers had just been working out together, and now that we'd finished I had decided to head to my favorite Starbucks.
Bucky rolled his eyes in response, "You know what I meant", he told me, clearly not in the mood to play around. I had to admit, even though we were constantly messing with each other, I loved him a lot. Sighing, I turn my entire body to face him, "Starbucks", I inform him, more specifically this time.
