Chapter 22; Not According To Plan

A/N: The outfit above is Psyche's field mission outfit :) The glasses are designed to help her detect heat signatures, kind of like Tony's helmet.
ALSO!! This is Psyche's first field mission, the one with Wanda did not actually have Psyche going out in the field, it just had her escorting Wanda as backup in case anyone is confused. I'm sorry I didn't specify earlier 😅
OH OH OH!! And I have no idea how computers and hackers and stuff work, so I made a lot of it up.

Chapter Warnings: Nothing much, just Clint thinking that Psyche/Steve/Bucky are doing it. 

3rd Person's POV

"Psyche we will be-" Steve stopped his sentence the moment his eyes landed on his soulmate who had finished changing into her mission suit. 

She looked up at him and smirked a little, "Yea?" she said when she noticed his blush.

"Um... you... you look nice. Like really nice" Steve mentally scolded himself for stuttering like that, but he was glad when Psyche chuckled.

"Thank you!" she thanked happily, adjusting her goggles.

"Hey punk have you-" Bucky's voice came from the hallway, and when he stepped in the room he paused just like Steve had. However, unlike Steve, he didn't appear flushed and flustered by the girl's pretty appearance. 

"Doll, I know you're not the hulk, but you're smashing," he said with a wink. That wiped the smirk off Psyche's face and replaced it with a dark red blush.

Bucky leaned close to Steve's ear to whisper, "That's how it's done, punk" and earned himself a light slap on the back of the head.

By now, Psyche had regained her composure, and had picked up the mission file Nick had given her yesterday.

"You wanted to tell me something Cap?" she asked.

"Yes, just that we'll be landing in approximately 10 minutes" he informed her.

She nodded, and looked down at the file, "I think it's time we go over the plan together just in case we're not on the same page at the moment"

The men nodded, and took their seats when Psyche had.

"According to this file, you two need to breach the building from the west entrance, make lots of noise, try catch their attention, distract them. Don't make it obvious what you're trying to do though" she momentarily looked up to see if they were following, and was satisfied to see them nodding.

"Whilst you two do this, I sneak in from the east entrance, if all goes well I won't bump into anyone. Then I'll proceed to the second level of the building where the DDOS attacks have been traced, I'll sabotage their systems and ensure those computers are no longer functional" with that, she snapped the file shut and sat up in her seat.

Bucky ran a hand through his short hair, his eyebrows were furrowed as he asked Psyche a question, "Even if you do destroy the computer, what's the guarantee they won't launch their cyber attacks from elsewhere?"

"Our mission for now, is just to rid them of the information they have stolen, and destroy their software. It'll take them a while to rebuild themselves, and by then, SHIELD will hopefully have caught them" Psyche stated, but even she seemed unsure of the fate of the mysterious rivals of SHIELD.

Clint, who had been piloting them popped his head into the room, his hand was shielding his eyes. "Are you guys hooking up? Need some condoms?" he shamelessly asked, causing Bucky to throw a cushion at him. 

Steve looked at Psyche who had her hands hiding her face, and he couldn't help but smile at her before he turned to Clint with a glare.

"No, we are not ,Clint, what do you need?" Steve directed to his pilot friend.
