It's been about two weeks and we've made a little camp. Everyday we each get a different job it worked quite well, but we need something more. The group is at it's weakest we haven't lost anybody but I'm not sure how long that will last.

"Eleanor can I get your help?" Beth asked.

"Yeah sure what is it?"

     "What did you do yesterday?"

"Oh yesterday I went hunting we brought back a rabbit and 2 squirrels" I answered

"Ok thanks. Today you can go gathering for fire wood berries and water to boil." Beth was a spectacular organizer so she kept track of what everyone was going to do. We all had to take on roles and that was hers. I grabbed the buckets and headed down a path. I found blueberries, blackberries, strawberries and raspberries. I picked around 75 berries. I went back, put the buckets down and grabbed the hatchet. I found a few good pieces of wood on the ground but the rest I cut off dying trees. I brought that back and went out for the final job, the water. I graded the two large iron buckets. One in each hand I began to walk down the path once again. The sky was orange and peaceful as if god was opening the clouds and coming down on a beam of light. I couldn't wait to be done with the daily chores. I got to the river and dipped my buckets in until it bubbled then picked them out. I was ready to go back but then I decided to wash my face. I get my face close to the and cup my hand in the water when all of a sudden something grabs my wrists. It was a walker in the water! "Ahhhhh" I screamed ripping my hand away and running back to camp leaving the buckets. Right before I reach the camp I hear screams and gunshots. What's that?!? I thought. I ran even faster. When I get there all I see is a herd of walkers attacking the camp. All I can think is this place isn't safe. There is no safe place.

I run into the death trap. Wheeling the hatchet back and forth into the skulls of the walkers. "There's to many" I say backing up into Daryl "Have you seen how many we've lost?" I asked "No, have you?"

"No. What do we do?"

"I want you to take down as many as you can then grab what you can and get on the bus. Spread the word" Daryl yelled.

"Ok." I nod my head and start to let the others know. I was determined to take the walkers out. When I wanted to I could be pretty badass with the way I killed them. I felt like I was the star of an action movie. I'd grab the back of its head and bang it against a tree. Then turn around grab my hatchet and whack one right in the head.

"Glenn we need everybody to get there stuff and get on to the bus Daryl has a plan."

"Got it, I'll let the others know."

I went into my tent which I shared with Lizzie and Mika. There stuff was already gone. I packed my belongings and the tent. When I was done I looked for everyone else I couldn't find everyone. But I did find a crap load of walkers coming my way. I run down the path to where the bus should be, but it wasn't there. My world was spinning "how could they just leave?" I scream kicking the dust where the bus had been. I couldn't complain once I thought about it...like I said life is a game, and they were just playing. -

'I'm on my own now, and I'm heading north back home. I'll probably find some other groups, meet new people but nothing permanet I hope.' I finish writing in my little black journal. I wasn't sure what my next move was except north. I have to admit I'm going to miss that group it was my first and they were like my family. Daryl, Maggie, Glenn, Rick, Carl...and well all of them. It's going to be a big change for me I won't have friends, a comfortable bed, or a hot meal but if I was living this way before I can do it again. I mean how hard can it be...right?

I wake up in the tree surprised to still be alive. I thought for sure I would have fallen. I was so sore and hungry. There were no dangers that I could see so I throw my stuff to the ground and slowly climbed down. Once I finished getting my stuff together I went to find a river or a pond or something. After about a mile I found a rocky stream I washed my face and hair then filled up my water bottles so I could boil them later. I packed my stuff and started walking north. I could tell it was early fall by the yellow leaves on the ground. I hadn't seen any walkers, it worried me but yet pleased me at the same time. If they weren't in my way then they weren't my problem. I couldn't help but wonder if everyone from the group was ok. A little part of me wanted to look for them I knew they were safe with Daryl, Glenn, Michonne, Tyreese, and the others. I couldn't look for them I had a job to do. But if I found them I won't harm them or run I'd stay for awhile.

I broke the limb of a tree and continually striked at it with my knife forming a pointed spear tip for fishing. When I found a river that looked clean enough I took off my shoes, socks and rolled up my skinny jeans. I slowly walked into the river the mud between my toes reminded me of walking on the beach when I visited Florida. The river wasn't to deep it went just a bit under my knee, and I was wearing skinny jeans...they were not coming up that high plus it was going to get cold so I rather my clothes be dry. I started to stalk the fish. The fish hopped on the spear after about 15 minutes. Yet one was all I needed. I set up a campfire in a nearby clearing. I warm up, get dressed and get out my mini travel/camping cooking set. I took the pot filled it with the water then hung the pot over the fire. I did the same with the fish. I ate the fish and wished that I had kept the rest of the fish I caught. I was going to get more but it was getting dark and I still needed to find a tree, because I'm just not comfortable with sleeping on the ground in the open. I was finally situated in the tree and ready to sleep when a sappy pinecone fell right on my head "Ah, Fuck-!" I yell

"Hey Ellie watch your mouth" a voice joked above me

"Carl?"
