"Ok Dog Boy" Inuyasha x Reader

Chapter 9

Honestly a little happy and proud that I wrote this so quickly, it probably isn't the best because I kept losing motivation half way through each paragraph but it's okay. As the bright light engulfed us into the well I clung tightly onto Kagome to make sure I didn't get left behind. As the silvered hair male got knocked into Kagome pushing me away from her I started hyperventilating. The half demon must've noticed my change in behavior because as Kagome did 306's in air trying to keep her skirt covered, Inuyasha quickly leaned over and wrapped his arms around my chest, keeping me close to him. The sudden change in behavior from the rude dog boy's behavior was a new thing to me, I grabbed onto his shirt trying to control my breathing. As we finally landed into the well floor again he instantly let go of me allowing me to drop to the ground effortlessly, unlike my landing Kagome screeched as she landed by a bone in the bottom of the well. She quickly stood up brushing off her legs and running to grab ahold of me, "Y/N! Did you see that! What the hell is it?!" Inuyasha picked up the skull and sniffed it before looking over at Kagome and pushing the skull into her face, allowing Kagome to let out a blood curdling scream. 

As Inuyasha started laughing his ass off he quickly wiped the tears from his eyes before throwing the skull to the side and holding out his hand, Kagome declined before quickly climbing up the vines to get out of the well. As I went to follow behind her I cut my hand on a rock, as I winced in pain grabbing my hand, Inuyasha looked over noticing the smell in the air. He grabbed ahold of my hand looking down at my palm before letting out a massive sigh and turning around, getting onto his knee and putting out his arms. "Get on. Before I leave your ass down here." I quickly hopped onto his back, placing my arms carefully around his neck. He hopped out of the well, I let out a screech by the speed he was going. It was unexpected and kind of startled me, as he placed me onto the grass Kagome grabbed my palm before smacking me in the back of the head and pointing her finger in my face. "You have to be careful Y/N!" I nodded avoiding eye contact with her, looking off into the distance to notice the amount of hairs that were surrounding the area, I pointed around the area to alarm everyone that there was hair around but soon as I pointed it out it started moving very quickly after me, as I moved to the side to avoid the blast something grabbed my ankle dragging me across the field. I let out a blood curdling scream as I was dragged across the grass by force, Kagome and Inuyasha both looked my way before they both screamed after me, Kagome started running after me before tripping over hair, Inuyasha let her fall and ran after me. As I grabbed onto a tree branch in hope of not being dragged into the darkness of the wildness Inuyasha lifted up his razor sharp claws and pointed teeth. As I looked up at him I couldn't see anything else but a beast ready to devour its prey. Is this really how I was going to be killed? I haven't even had my first kiss yet, I can't die like this. 

As Inuyasha let out a scream I did the same, tears strolling down my face as his claw came down closer to my body, this is it. It's the end. Goodbye cruel world, or so I thought? As I opened my eyes I was no longer being pulled by my ankle, I looked down to where Inuyasha's hand was noticing he cut the hair from around my ankle to save me. My eyes widened in suprise before I stared up at the beast, tears streaming down my face. He turned around to look me in the eyes before giving me a 'tsk' and walking past me, "Be careful next time idiot," were the last words he told me as he walked away from me, arms behind his neck. I followed his every move until he was out of sight, I sat up pulling my knees to my chest taking deep breaths in attempt to calm down my beating heart and watering eyes. As I heard a branch break I turned quickly in fear something else was going to try and get me but just to be welcomed with the warm hug of my close friend. She rubbed my back and embraced me, as I let myself break down in her arms I clenched onto her shirt and sniffled into her shoulder. As I finally calmed down Inuyasha alarmed us in the distance that he heard something, Kagome helped me up onto my feet before grabbing my hand and running, dragging me along with her to see what Inuyasha was yelling about.

As we made it to where Inuyasha was we quickly noticed what he meant by he heard something, one of the trees had been knocked down by god knows what. As I grabbed onto Kagome's shirt and started shaking in fear she wrapped her arm around me to keep me calm. As we turned around we noticed a woman's outline in the moonlight. I followed the shadow up to the woman that me and Kagome had met before, as my eyes widened with fear I fell onto the ground looking at the woman, "Yura.." I whispered, Inuyasha looked at me out of the side of his eye before giving out another 'tsk' and cracking his knuckles. As he was getting ready to attack she pointed her sword to me and laughed like a maniac. I was shaking on the ground, Inuyasha and Kagome were yelling at me to get up and move but it was like I was glued in place. It felt as if I moved an inch I would die, I stood still. I refused to move, well that was until my ankle was grabbed by hair again, yet this time I didn't get a chance to register what was happening because by the time I had, I was already halfway across the field. I screamed out in fear, screaming for someone, anyone to help me. I didn't want to die. I have no idea why I deserved to go through this, I was forcefully being dragged across the forest ground, getting cut by man rocks and hitting many tree trunks. As I was finally dragged to a massive mountain of human skulls. The hair around my ankle threw me into the pile of bones. As Yura slowly got closer to me she leaned in looking at my s/c skin, she rubbed my cheek before moving hear hand to my h/l h/c hair. She let it fall between her fingers before she grabbed ahold of it tugging it backwards, I winced in pain. She stared into my eyes before grinning and licking my cheek. "Your hair really is beautiful if I do say so myself." She said while letting go of my hair, continuing to play with it. As she played with my hair, pulling it, running her fingers through it and many more I noticed Inuyasha and Kagome approaching. I didn't change my behavior so I wouldn't give them away. But sad to say that didn't stop Yura from noticing them. Once she looked back to see them she turned back to look at me before yelling into my face. "How dare you not alarm me you vermin!" She grabbed my hair again this time slamming my head into a skull. I could hear my nose crack, I wanted to puke by the sound of it. She dropped my head and I fell to the ground covering my nose. As she stood up to look at Kagome and Inuyasha, Inuyasha was already half way across the field of skulls about to attack her before he was stopped mid air by her hair. She threw her sword at him, causing it to go into his left shoulder. He yelled out in pain, but soon a bright light flew across the field almost hitting her in the shoulder.

She moved away before yelling in anger, as she focused her attention onto those two I was able to finally move past the pain and look for a way to help, as I started climbing the mountain of skulls I noticed one skull that stood out from the rest of them. As I climbed up the mountain I turned when I heard Kagome scream and Inuyasha yell after her, I noticed fire burning from an area farther away from where I was located. As I got a closer look I noticed Kagome engulfed by the fire, as my heart dropped at the sight of seeing her covered in flames. Inuyasha was able to get free of the hairs and went after Kagome. I left Kagome to Inuyasha and contiued to climb the mountain of skulls to the red skull. As I finally reached the red skull I grabbed onto it, tugging it before the whole mountain started shaking. As I grabbed the red skull and held on for dear life I noticed Yura staring are me from afar, before I could relize what was going on and why Inuyasha was screaming my name a sword was already pierced through my stomach. As I looked down in shock to see the sword inside of my stomach I started tearing up, soon after the sword was snatched from my stomached and pulled back to Yura. "Stupid girl! Don't try to mess with my pretty skulls! You got them all tangled!" She screamed at me, as I looked over to Inuyasha I held up the red skull before smashing it into the ground repeatedly. Soon it broke in half, and a purple glowing shard came out from inside of it. As I looked up a Yura she was slowing turning into Ashes, her clothing being blown away by the wind. As I turned to give Inuyasha and Kagome a smile and thumbs up I grabbed my stomach in pain before falling over in slow motion. It was like one of those scenes you see in the action movies, except it was actually happening. Before I blacked out I heard the sound of Kagome screaming my name and Inuyasha. Huh? Inuyasha said my name? He's never said it before, that's neat. I let out a chuckle and winced in pain before soon I faded into a black pool of never ending darkness.
