Keenio, Elizabeth, Veronica, and Zalpa kept their promise to Elise. As usual her performance was flawlessly executed. Her voice and dancing moved everybody in the tavern. Elise was amazing in every way, but it was time for them to depart from Sparta, leaving Elise behind.
They followed the river and several cities and towns back to The Athena where Saritha and her crew were waiting patiently for them. They set sail as soon as they boarded.
Keenio was wearing leather armor, for his robes were destroyed. He had no sword at his side.
"Prince Keenio" her scarlet hair flowed within the wind.
"We were beginning to think you and your friends weren't going to return."
She inspected Zalpa, and the others.
"Where is the cute blonde that was traveling with you guys?"
"We parted ways.." Keenio answered.
"And you got a new companion at that. An elf?"
"Is that going to be a problem?"
"Not at all. It's just interesting seeing an elf in the company of humans that isn't bound or enslaved."
"He is a friend.."
"Where is your armor Keenio? And your sword, you look so ill-equiped"
"We had a contract and my armor was destroyed along with my sword, I haven't had a chance to get replacements."
Keenio and his group boarded the ship.
"Well we can't have an assassin with no sword, come with me."
She separated him form his friends, and lead him to her private chambers, and stopped at the door.
"Why bring me to your private chambers Saritha?"
"Don't worry, it's not like we haven't been in my chambers alone before."
"Except this time we have more cloths on."
"That can change if you wanted" she flirted.
"Why did you bring me here?"
"Come in." She smiled and opened the door.
"..fine."
As he entered her room she sat him down at the table in the corner.
"Keenio. What happened? Your armor you had last time I saw you, I thought it was indestructible, as was supposed to be your sword. So what happened?"
Keenio huffed.
"Can you pour me a drink before I share this tale with you?"
"If course I can."
From her cabinet she pulled out two glasses and a large bottle of vodka, and graciously poured them both a drink.
"Thank you."
"Well talk."
Keenio drank and began to tell her what happened after he set off from their ship, not leaving out any detail.
"Well that's interesting. So I slept with the Starchild of legend" she laughed.
"Yeah. I guess so."
"Talk about rare, but I always knew you were special."
"Anyhow what did you want me in your chambers?"
"Well I wanted to know what happened after you left, and when I saw that you didn't have any good armor or even a sword at your side I figured I would drag you here to tell me what happened, but also, I wanted to give you something."
