On top a lonely mountain stood the sight of an ancient battle, between a demi-god and a Primordial, when you look there now you will never know it even happened, it was the last stand between Diemos, the second coming of Ahriman. As their blades clash, blood is spilled, the blood of Diemos.
He wore heavy starling silver armor, and still, his enemy drew blood on him, he screamed an unforgettable scream of pain, and fell to the ground, The sky around him grew cold. Rain and lighting fell upon the great mountain. His enemy clothed in the shadows of the dark night gazed upon the wounded man, and drew ever closer.
"Is this really it? Am I to die here after everything I have done?"
He looked to his side, his sword was shattered, his gear fell off of his body, and it all turned to ashes. The Scarred one laid there, his chocolate colored hair stained red with his own blood, his ocean blue eyes, appearing as if the color was vanishing, he looked up at his attacker,
"so this is how it ends..."
The water manipulater was afraid, as the fear reached him, he gripped ashes of his great relics, he cried out to the heavens, he roared a mighty roar, it wasn't over. As his attacker drew ever nearer clothed In jet black armor, Deimos saw his attacker's hideous, monstrous face. He was more creature than man, a real demon.
"Look at you know"
the creature laughed, mocking this battle hardened warrior.
"you came all this way, and the gods abandoned you in the end, Deimos, the son of Neptune, the last Atlantean" he mocked.
"It was YOU who united all of Greece"
He pointed his shadowy sword at Deimos's throat.
" You traveled for years, building this army, and now look at you"
He circled Deimos.
" You have no weapon. You have no armor. All of your pathetic mortals are to fall here and now."
He slashed Deimos, and brought him to his knees.
" You've lost the most important battle of your very life, and now you the mighty son of Poseidon, is now brought to his knees, you will fall as the gods fell, at the hands of a Primordial. You are nothing but an insect, an insect that is about to fall, just as his father did."
He held his blade to Diemos's throat again and smiled.
Diemos's eyes were faded, but he was still breathing. He placed his bloodied hand over the ashes next to him, and the ashes began to merge and form something else. A long-sword with jagged edges formed, its blade the color of white steel, with lines and marks of a deep blue, and Diemos swiftly swung the blade to block his enemy, and was able to break free of this monster's grip.
"It's not over!"
Diemos , he roared like a mighty lion, and forced himself to stand strong once more.
Many rays of energy surrounded the warrior in a blinding cloak of light. His eyes were no longer human, dark and twisted his eyes were. He had the eyes of a mighty demon, his teeth were that of a fanged beast. and the ground shook around him as he walked towards his enemy with the blade at his side. his spirit energy burned in waves of red, black, and blue.
"I will never give up!! YOU slaughtered EVERYONE... everyone I ever cared about!!!"
Diemos roared ever moving closer to his target.
"It was YOU who destroyed my homeland... and now... YOU will pay YOUR dues!!"
And he slammed into his enemy at such a speed that none could see him. Diemos's blade went through his enemy's chest, and the creature vanished, and rain fell harder upon the earth.
"It's not over..."
Diemos softly said, huffing, out of breath. Then the warrior looked down, and saw that he had been pierced straight through his heart as well, and he fell again to his knees, his chest covered in thick blood.
As he fell on the battle ground, and a woman ran to him crying.
"Diemos, please don't die, please I need you"
She rested his head on her knee.
Diemos laid there as he stared into the eyes of the most beautiful thing he ever has seen. His eyes fading, tears fell from his once bright blue eyes, but the tears were not out of sorrow nor of pain. Diemos, the great warrior, was smiling, for he finally felt redeemed of all his past sins.
"Annabeth, you need not to worry, it's over now"
He struggled and placed his hand softly in hers, looking into her violet colored eyes, as her crimson color hair blew in the wind and the rain, he wiped her tears away and smiled.
"You're too beautiful to cry, you need to stop" he softly gasps for air.
"You have allot to live for."
He looked at his blade.
"T-take my sword" he struggled to tell her.
"when I am gone, someone in the future will need it, keep it in your family, tell them, that Starfang, belongs to the child born under a moon clothed in blood, it is the only thing that can stop what is yet to come"
"Yes Diemos, I will, I..."
Diemos put his finger on her lips to silance her.
"Do not cry Annabeth, I love you."
He gave one final kiss to his beloved, and Diemos closed his eyes, forever to sleep.
The rain vanished, the sky was cloudless, and Diemos faded away leaving nothing behind. His body vanished from her arms.
"Why?!" She screamed to the heavens.
The pain was just unbearable for her.
"Why did you have to die?"
She looked at the sword, grabbed it by the hilt. Then, a bright light from the heavens came down over it, the sword vanished, and all that remained was a rod, the color of silver, and on it was inscribed in ocean blue lettering that read:
He who is worthy shall be known as Star Child, and will be the Last Atlantian's chosen champion.
She picked it up and walked from the mountian to return to Athens for the battle was finally over.
Time passed, and all of Greece forgot about the Legandary Warrior, all accept for Annabeth and her descendents. So ended the era of ancient prophecy. So ends the legand of Diemos, the Fallen King of Atlantis, and the final bloodline of the Olympians.
