Chapter 2- I'm Back Miyagi!

"Here I am" you said as you stepped out of the train.

"I'm back Miyagi!" you excitedly said.

All the passengers stared at you for a moment.

"G-Gomenasaii" you apologized.

"waaaaaah it's so nice to be back here" your mom said.

"Y/n are you sure about living here alone?"

"Yeah mom, I'm readyyyy"

You did well on convincing your mom to live alone in your old house, they can't live with you in Miyagi since they have works to do in Tokyo.

You came back to fulfill your promises, especially to Kunimi.

You will never forget the day when you left him behind.

You two were 9 years old back then when you left him.

And now you're 16 when you returned.

You didn't get to talk to him since your mom's phone was broken.

And you just got a smart phone.

Everytime you recall the day when you left, his words still hurt, a lot.

'So promises really are meant to be broken'

You and your mom arrived at your old house, to be welcomed by a dusty living room.

'now, all I have to do is choose a school...' you thought

"Honey, have you heard about this school?? I think the school's name is, 'Karasuno High School'... "

"Karasuno?.... Alright, I'm going there"

"Mom?"

"hmmm??"

"do you think, Akira is still living in that house?" you said as you pointed Kunimi's house.

"why don't you go and check it?"

"I can't, I don't have the courage to face him... I mean, for now.. BUT I'LL APOLOGIZE!"

"That's my girl, now go"

"Mom, I said not now"

"Do you know?? You were so clingy to him back then AHHAHAHAHHAHAAH" your mom said as she laughed like there's no tomorrow.

"ugh mom just shut up"

"well, I hope you and him will get along again."

"He's probably mad at me.."

"why though?"

"because I left him...I made a promise to him but I broke it."

"It's already late Y/n, go to sleep and go to school tomorrow, I already enrolled you there."

"okay...."

"Akira" Kunimi's mom said as she knocked on his son's door for a hundred times already.

"what?"

"you haven't eaten your dinner yet..."

"I'm not hungry."

"just eat a little"

"I said I'm not hungry mom..."

"but, if you're hungry, there's food downstairs we left for you.." she said as she walked out of his room and closed the door.

"You changed Akira..." his mom mumbled to herself.

Kunimi's mom heard a doorbell from downstairs so she went to their front door and checked if who it was.

"ohhh, Kindaichi"

"good evening, is Kunimi still awake?"

"Yes he is, he's in his room"

"can I talk to him for a while?"

"sure sure"

Kindaichi went upstairs and entered kunimi's room.

His room was very dark, all windows were closed.

"Kunimi"

"Kindaichi??why are you here?"

"nothing, tomorrow is our first day of school"

"and??"

"nevermind"

"Oh by the way, I don't know if we have a new neighbor, but Y/n's old house's light is on... " Kindaichi added.

"What??" Kunimi, said as he stood up and went to his window, looking at your room's window.

"O-oi calm down, what if it's not her and you'll get caught then they might think that you're a pervert" Kindaichi said, stopping his friend.

"She promised me."

"so you're still keeping that in your heart Kunimi"

"Shut up"

He looked at your window, but your curtains were closed.

You and Kunimi are neighbors, so back then, you talk every night from window to window.

"She's not there" Kindaichi said.

"okay" Kunimi said as he went back to his bed.

"But if she's there, will you go and talk to her??"

"why not?"

"you're not mad at her?"

"why would I?"

"What if she'll ignore you?"

"why?"

"because you didn't talk to her when she's about to leave."

"and?"

"Kunimi you're answers are so cold"

"But if she's there, will you confess to her?"

"confess what??"

"your feelings for her"

"That was 7 years ago so forget about it." he coldly said.

"Alright I'm going home now, see you tomorrow bro"

"Mom" you said as you entered your mom's room.

"Y/n what is it?"

"Do you think, Akira is studying at Karasuno High School?"

"I don't know, I told you to go to their house"

"nahhh nevermind, we're just neighbors so we can still talk, well, if they're still living there.."

"why not check your windows? You used to talk to Kunimi there right?" your mom said.

"I'll go to sleep, goodnight"

"Goodnight"
