Chapter 8- Mine

Your alarm just rang and you were still sleeping.

While outside your house, there's two male who's resting their back on your house's wall.

"Kunimi-san, do you like L/n-san?" Kageyama asked out of the blue.

"how about you? Do you like her?" he answered.

"what if I say yes?" Kageyama answered Kunimi's question competitively.

"and what if I say yes too?" Kunimi said, he won't let his guard down.

He won't let his former teammate get you.

The same as Kageyama, he won't let Kunimi get you.

"I'm too lazy to argue with you to be honest, but if you're planning on taking her away from me... That's a different story... You need to forget that I'm lazy when you're planning that." Kunimi stated.

"You're just a best friend to her, why don't you give up before it gets worse." Kageyama said.

"and who are you to say that? Who am I to believe you?"

"you have your manager, she's in love with you right?"

"and? So what if she's in love with me? Do I look like I care?"

"you're playing her feelings! You should tell her that you're not interested, can't you see her efforts? Can't you feel how deeply in love she is?!" Kageyama said.

"I don't need to tell her, it's fucking obvious that I'm not Interested in her."

"L/n-san is mine" Kageyama said.

"She's mine" Kunimi said.

"don't you think that she'll avoid you if you confess? Like, it's obvious that she just sees you as a friend." Kageyama said.

"don't you think that she'll avoid you as well if you confess? She just met you, and you don't know each other's secrets HAHAHAHAHA" Kunimi said.

"She has trust issues even though you can see her smile, laugh, being clingy or whatever, she just doesn't want to be treated like a princess that's why, she's trying her best to make some friends, she's trying her best to be happy, yes she achieved that, she made friends, your team became her friends and family, so don't you dare use her because she's trying her best to trust you guys, she's fighting, that's what I like about her..." Kunimi said.

Kageyama was shocked, he never heard his former  talk like that.

"Tsk, let's just see if who will win..." Kunimi said as he looked at Kageyama.

"we'll see, may the best man win" Kageyama said.

"where is Y/n?" Kageyama asked.

"She's probably still asle-"

"WHAT ARE YOU TWO DOING OUTSIDE OF MY HOUSE?!" you said.

You heard some guys talking outside of your house as you were heading to the kitchen to make some breakfast.

You carefully grabbed the kitchen knife for protection in case there's a thief or a killer outside your house.

you heard one of the men said 'may the best man win' so you assumed that they're trying to sneak in and kill you, and if one of them succeed, will win

'Mom I'm starting to regret that I'm being left alone here, I don't think I'm ready, I don't wanna die!' You started panicking as you inhaled and exhaled.

'I'm opening this fucking door, and once I did, I'm gonna stab these fucking bullshits' you said to yourself.

'Mommyyy I'm scared' you were still panicking.

You sighed and opened the door, as the two guys looked at you and noticed you were holding a knife.

"DIEEEEEE BITCHEEEESSS" you shouted.

"O-Oi calm down L/n!!" Kageyama said as he gripped your wrist.

Kunimi didn't expect that to happen, all he did after stopping you was to get the knife out of your hand and calm you.

"what are you two doing here? if you weren't facing each other's faces out there, I might have stabbed you on the back, bitches" you said after drinking the water.

"we were waiting for you..." they said.

"w-why?? It's weekend, remember?"

"You said we're going out"

'I said that?when?' you thought.

"When?" you asked them.

"Yesterday..."

"wtf-...OH OKAY I REMEMBER!.. g-give me a few minutes to get ready!" you said as you went upstairs.

"Take your time" they said.

After a few minutes of getting ready, you grabbed your small backpack and went downstairs.

"So, where are we going?" you said.

"it's up to you..." they said.

"Let's just go to the park, I guess?? Kinda boring but it's relaxing, you know... Haha" you suggested.

"okay"

"If you asked me yesterday, then I am going with one of you, where will you supposed to take me to?" you asked.

"Café" Kageyama said.

"My house" Kunimi said.

'Akira is still really Akira'

"hmmmmm, let's go to the park okay? Since you two won't get along."

When the three of you have arrived at the park, it was really awkward...

No one dared to talk, not until you broke the silence

" Come on guys, talk, why do you hate each other grrrrr" you whined as you rested your head on the stone made table.

Kunimi and Kageyama was peacefully sipping their drinks

Silence

Then they heard a little snore

They looked at the girl in front of them, the snores were coming from you.

"Oi boke wake u-"

"don't wake her up." Kunimi said.

"she didn't get enough sleep last night, her room's light was still on, like between 2 or 3AM"

The truth is, you were still up until the sun rises, you were reading the manga you just bought.

"Why did you just looked at her window?" Kageyama said.

"I was too tired okay? And I was not thinking straight at that moment, all I think was sleeping so shut up"

"Tsk"

They went silent again

You moved a bit, then they noticed a notebook, in the notebook's cover, it was clearly said...

"Diary"

They looked at each other as they got curious.

Why do you have a diary?

What kind of diary?

What was written in there?

What if there's something in there?
