We walked up to the doors of the brown barn and I took the doors by the handles before opening it up. "Boys! Welcome back! Ready for some horseback riding?" She asked and we nodded. We've known Harry for a day, and don't worry, the feelings that we had when we met her subsided. She is just an attractive and stunning young lady with a good and positive attitude. That's it. Too quick to fall for someone that you just met. Plus, we don't even know enough about her!
What we do know is that her stepfather passed away due to heart cancer, and it made her fall into a dark place. She started to get addicted to drugs. She scared her friends and family multiple times because of the times where she overdosed. When the third time came around, her mother sent her to rehab. Because of that, she recovered and moved out here so that her mind can stay clear and she will not stress over that negative memory. Which is a good and an amazing thing of course.
"Liam!" Harry shouted and I jumped a bit. "Huh?" "What was your horse's name?" She asked as she was petting one with on hand and looking at me. "Rex? Yeah Rex," I said and she smiled before walking to my horse and she took it out. "Now all we need is the gear," she said and walked back into the barn.
"How do you think we'll do?" Louis asked as he was petting the horse that was introduced to him yesterday. Harry was not lying when she said that the horse was pretty chill with humans. All of the horses were. "I have a bet that if it isn't Niall, then it's definitely going to be you who famms first," I told him and he rolled his eyes.
"Okay I'm- oof!" We looked and saw her fall with gear around her. I rushed to her aid and I helped her up. "Sorry...I'm very much the clumsy type," she said as she gathered herself. I helped her pick the gear back up and she thanked me. "Alright boys. Each one of you bick up a saddle, saddle pad, girth and bridle with reins." We just stared at her and she sighed.
She then bent over snd disputed the gear out to us. "Hold onto them. I will teach you how to put the gear on properly. However...I know that I'm forgetting something..." I looked at her and she looked back at me. Then it seemed as though she was looking at my head. "Helmets! Of course! I'll be right back with them."
And just like that, she dissapeared again. I looked at the boys and I just shrugged at them. "I think she overworks herself too much," Niall said. "The girl does own a farm. Having so many animals under the care of one person is a bit much," Zayn replied and Niall agreed with him. "We should definitely help her. Help her out so that she's not running around here like crazy," Louis suggested.
"That is actually a good idea baby. We should ask her if there is anything that we could do to help around with the farm or something," I told the boys and they all nodded with smiles on their faces.
"Okay I'm back!" "Why did you bring a whole load with you?" "Well I don't know your head sizes or which helmet best fits you boys," she said with a kind smile as she looked back at the helmets. "So go ahead and pick which one best fits your heads," she instructed and we walked to the little load.
"It is also important that you kept your phones at home, so I hope that you did so?" She pointed out as she put her hat on. "We did actually," Niall responded before patting his head. "Does that fit you babe?" Zayn asked and Niall gave him a thumbs up. I put the helmet that best fits my head in my before I walked back to my horse. "Alright, this is how you put the gear on," she said and she showed us ho w to put these things in our horse one step at a time.
When the gear is fully on, she then proceeded to tell us each part of the gear that is important to know when it comes to horseback riding. She helped us to the best of her ability to get on our horses. Niall and Louis were the two who were mainly struggling and Harry had to use almost all of her strength to help them get on the horse and actually stay on it.
