[ Minyoung's POV ]
At the end of the party, the boys brought us to my place. Ivy was going to sleep over tonight. First, I was excited to share my bed with my best friend, but now I felt like I was going to be stuck with my biggest rival... Ivy was a big big chatterbox, she talks a lot. Even if sometimes she has difficulties to express herself clearly because she was more accustomed to speak English, she wouldn't miss a chance to make noise.
"Hey Minyoung are you already sleeping?" she whispered.
"Yes!"
"YAAA! I want to talk!"
"Maybe next time," I replied coldly.
"But I can't sleep if I don't tell you this!" she suddenly stood up and light up the room.
"Aish, this girl really..." I yawned.
See what I've told you earlier...
"Hehe..." she laughed a bit embarrassed.
"Well, there's a guy that I like..."
No, don't tell me that he's Jun please!
"You don't have to mention his name, keep going," I said quickly before she could tell me who the obvious person was.
Now, I could pretend that I'm not aware of the fact she had a crush on Jun, so I could spend time with him without feeling guilty...
"That's great, because you know this guy and you are quite close to each other. I would have been embarrassed if I had to do it..." she smiled nervously.
Oh no, I knew that she was talking about Jun!
"So?"
"Um... We don't see each other a lot but met few times during the holidays. I thought he was nice and sweet but he tends to hide it when other people are around... So..."
What?! He made it so obvious by pushing me away twice after seeing you when we were dancing and you are saying that he's cold with you. Are you doing this purposely to make me jealous?!
"So I don't know what he actually thinks about me..."
"He doesn't like to compliment me and would never make the first move when he had a chance to do it."
Did she mean that he compliments her often and would do the first move EACH time he has the chance to? This American Korean does really talk weirdly... It was obvious that she was talking about Mr. Jun, so what she was telling me doesn't make sense at all.
" What do you think Minyoung?"
"You want my opinion?"
"Um hum!" she shook her head excitedly.
"I think that it's obvious..." she stared at me with a serious face hoping me to finish my sentence.
"That... He... DOESN'T LIKE YOU!"
My biggest lie ever mouhahahaha!!! Why would a guy be nice and sweet to you, compliment you all the time and try to make the first move when he can if he doesn't like you?!
"Is that what you really think?" she showed up a sad face.
It was heart-breaking to see her like this but I had to bring all the chance for myself first to see whether I could date him or not.
"Well, goodnight!" I turned off the light before slipping myself under the blanket. *ninja!*
