[ Sammy's POV ]
Speaking English
"Come!" Kevin held my hand and brought me to the children's playground.
"Wait a second," he ran inside and went back with a guitar.
He started to sing Happy Song by Connie Talbot. I didn't know that he was that good at singing. I was totally amazed by the sweetness of his voice.
"So?" he asked my opinion at the end of his performance.
"It sucks!" he pouted.
"Just kidding! Seriously, you should become a singer," I clapped.
"Haha I practiced this song a lot. I usually sing it to the kids when they're sad."
"So you consider me like one?"
"No but I think that it can bring your smile back on your face," he chuckled.
"Aaah! You're too sweet, it freaks me out!" I got goose bump.
"Sorry..." he said embarrassed.
"Don't be! Thank you. You're a cool guy."
There was a huge silence... He put his guitar down and went to sit next to me.
"You haven't told me about your story yet."
"Which one?"
"Well, I was just curious about where you come from."
"I'm from San Francisco!"
"Really? I'm from California too! I'm from LA"
"We're neighbour haha!" he laughed childishly.
"Zoe, Ivy, my youngest sister and I were born in Korea. We have left when Ivy was only 7 and came back two years ago."
"I see, that's why you're all fluent in English."
"And you?"
"I was born in America and went back six years ago."
"Have you already date someone?"
"Nope..."
"Haha Kevin is a virgin!"
"Why are you laughing? Have you already had a boyfriend?"
"Nope..."
"Sammy is virgin too!" he giggled.
"Shut up! You shouldn't say such things in front of the kids," I covered his mouth quickly.
"You did it first and we're alone..."
[Kevin's POV]
"Maybe we should date."
"What?!" I faced her with a shocked face.
"No, I mean not for real! I just want to practice."
"It's not a bad idea but it sounds just a little stupid..."
"Why not? It's an opportunity for you to learn how to act more like a man and for me to act more like a woman! Keep it between us okay?" I nodded in agreement.
Even if it's kind of weird, I had to admit that sometimes our daily behaviour may let people think that we have exchanged our gender...
"No physical contacts, no eyes contact, no sweet or dirty talking and stuff."
"I don't know how you want to practice if you banish all the things couples do while dating..." I sighed.
"Okay, okay I remove all what I've said. Let's hang out next Saturday night."
"Where?"
"How am I supposed to know? You should plan the event! You're the guy!"
"You're not too far from being one too..." I mumbled to myself.
"EXCUSE ME?!"
"How about going to a fancy restaurant honey?" I faked a smile.
"A fancy restaurant huh?" she smirked to herself.
Preview: The rendez-vous!
PS: Has anybody noticed the crappy play on words in the title? Secret garden refers to the place they are but also to the K-drama where the main characters exchanged they body lol
