[ AJ’s POV ]
{ At the university }
“Guess who I am!” someone covered my eyes from behind. It was a familiar girl’s voice who was talking.
“John!”
“This is not funny!” Mila said before releasing her hands.
“So what’s up buddy?”
“Let’s have lunch together,” she suggested and I agreed.
Mila is the first friend I made when I came to Columbia. I've known her since my first year in this school. She’s Korean but was born in United States. This girl is just awesome, she taught me English and helped me a lot. I’m very thankful towards her. She’s just like a sister to me, that’s why we are quite close to each other.
{ At the canteen }
Mysterious lady, so mysterious lady~~~
I know this song, Lauren listened to it a lot when we were in the car.
“Mila you’re phone is ringing!” she grabbed her phone and hung off.
“It’s not important…”

The phone kept on ringing but she refused to pick it up.
“Sorry,” she hung it off again and continued to eat.

“I think you should answer, it must be an urgent call,” she finally picked it up and went a bit further to talk.
I’ve never seen her being that furious before. Usually, Mila is a nice girl, she wouldn’t get angry for nothing. I wonder who was talking on the other side of the phone. It wasn’t my business anyway…
After ten minutes, she went back to her seat.
“When did you change your ringtone?” I asked her a random question, obviously she wasn’t in a good mood since the moment her phone has started to ring.
“A month ago, when you were in Korea.”
“It’s U-KISS right?”
“How do you know them?”
There were sparkles in her eyes. Exactly the same expression as Lauren when she’s talking about K-Pop…
“Well… It’s my girlfriend’s favorite boys band…” I said embarrassed.
“Oh, I see… You have never talked about her before.” Mila played with the straw by turning it around in her lemonade.
[ Mila’s POV ]
“That’s because we are together for not so long ago…”
It hurt, really, it does hurt. As soon as the word “girlfriend” came out of his mouth, I knew that I had no chance to confess anymore. I’ve got a boyfriend too, but the one I really love is Jaeseop. He was a FOB, he looked so innocent when I first met him. I didn’t know how and why but it didn’t take much time that he has already caught my eyes. I’ve always thought that we were meant to be. We had spent so much great time studying, teasing each other, hanging out but now I think it was over…
