[ Sammy's POV ]
"What are you doing?" Steven looked at me suspiciously.
"Umm... I forgot my phone in your room, I didn't want to wake you up so I just came there by myself."
"Anything else?"
"No, I just want to get it back, can you imagine another reason for me to be there?"
"So what are you doing in my bed?" he pointed at his bed.
"Well, I prefer to sleep in these clean and smooth white sheets instead of sleeping on the grass..."
"Okay, my turn to ask you the same question! Why are you chasing me upstairs? Weren't you supposed to be taking your nap in the garden?"
"Haha you're so funny, you're speaking like you were already the owner of this house!"
"As you like it so much, you can become its owner if that's really your will," he added.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to be rude," I stood up from the bed.
"Wait, where are you going? Didn't I tell you that it could become yours if you wanted to?" he put both of his hands on my shoulders making me unable to move.
I was about to kick his lower part but he suddenly screamed in pain.
"AAAHHH!" he fainted over me.
"Nasty!" I pushed him away from me.
"Kevin?" my eyes widened when I saw his face.
"Are you alright?" I nodded.
"Let's go now before he wakes up!" I pulled his arm and headed to the door.
"Wait!" He took off my hand and walked back to Steven.
"What? Richer and more handsome than me? Manlier?" he pointed at his head.
"Hurry up!" I tried to bring him out of the room but he escaped again.
"I knew you were a jerk!!!" he kicked the half-dead body making Steven fall on the floor.
"Enough!!!" I pulled him a last time.
[ Kevin's POV ]
{ At the orphan's center }
We went to the Secret Garden, no one dared to speak for a while.
"Why did you follow me?" Sammy broke the silence.
"I wasn't relieved to let you stay with him alone..."
"Is that the only reason?"
"Minki told me that he was cooler than me, I had to confirm whether it was the case or not..."
"Do you really find this jerk cooler than me?" I mumbled.
"Why are you asking this?"
"Answering my question by asking me another one is not an option..."
"Okay, I thought he was nice."
"Better than me?" I asked a bit insecure.
"Well, I can't deny that he was good looking."
"Was?" she nodded.
"That was before you came and gave him a head shot. Hahahahahahahaha!!!" she suddenly burst out laughing.
"Why are you laughing idiot?"
"You're so cute when you're jealous. I never thought that you had a manly side in you."
Did I hear it? She said I was manly OMG!!! I was screaming inside of me but I just kept calm and tried to act cool.
"Said it loud, I'm your hero," I teased her.
"Never!" she shook her head.
"If you don't, I'm going to tickle you until you'll admit that I'm the best!"
I chased her around the playground. She purposely let me caught her, normally I would never be able to run at a faster pace than her.
I hold her tightly in my arms. I lifted up her face and pressed my lips against hers.

PS: Remember when I said that I'll surprised you in chapter 40 if I have twenty faithful followers until this chapter? But from what I've seen there's not even ten views in the last chapter... So I'll save it for later... :( Well I didn't have much time to prepare it so if you're patient the surprise would probably be better :D Oh I forgot... WE'RE AT THE HALF OF THE STORY!!! (so good for you if you enjoy the fanfic and sorry for the ones who had already started to get bored ^^')
