Chapter 5~ Positive

"Are you sure these tests are right?"

"I'm positive." The doctor gave her a pat on the back. "Are you going to be okay?"

"Yes. Of course. I just need a minute." The doctor left and Maleficent just sat there thinking. She felt weird. Happy. That was the feeling.

"I have to tell Conall." She said aloud.

"Tell me what." Maleficent turned around. Seeing her confused face he answered. "Nurse sent for me."

"Ah. Well, no better time than the present. I'm pregnant." Conall looked at her. At first, she didn't see any emotions. Not even shock. Then his face turned into one of joy. He smiled so brightly.

"This is great. This is great right?"

"Yeah. Yeah, it is great." She smiled and hugged him. She didn't know why she was so lucky to have ended up with him.

"So. Boy or a girl?"

"I just found out now. I think I still need a little bit of time. What do you want it to be?"

"I'll be happy with either. You?"

"A girl."

"Why?"

"So I can show her how to braid her hair and to fly. And we can talk about boys."

"So you can gossip behind my back."

They chuckled.

"Never." She said sarcastically. Then she sighed. "The moors will have to wait though."

"Yes. An unfortunate turn of events on that part. But you'll bring the child there when you are ready and they are doing great."

Maleficent's smile returned.

"We need to get ready. I want a room fit for a queen."

"Giving up your title already?"

"Never." They both giggled. "This is going to be a long nine months."

"We are ready though," Conall stated.

Over the next nine months, they had gotten everything ready finally, the child had come. Maleficent had almost perfect childbirth. But, across the kingdom so did the queen and king with Aurora. And Maleficent still hadn't gotten rid of her grudge. Still to this day she had nightmares although with the child they had gotten less severe.

When she had the dream about a child. His child. She decided to leave. To find the child and make her pay for what her father had done. It was the hardest decision Maleficent had to make to leave her child. But, it was time to return to the moors and get her revenge. And so the baby was left in the hospital with a note saying.
