"Ah yes. Dreadful aren't they? I do quite agree with Brendan. Don't you think they deserve to pay?"
"It's not as simple as one deserves it and the other doesn't. One person did that to you. True many more wanted to do the same but, how about the poor family down the road or, the other kingdom who thinks fondly of your kingdom."
"I do suppose you're right." Maleficent chuckled at herself. "Very right indeed."
She looked at Conall for a moment then a weird feeling struck her heart. The feeling only one did before. She would never let that in again so she brushed it off.
Must be a mistake.
She thought in her head.

"I do hope no one followed you. Your community will be dead as well if they did." Maleficent said.
"You shouldn't worry about us. We can protect ourselves."
"I trust your judgment." She only just met this man and trusted him with her life. "Thank you for helping me. I wouldn't want to waste your resources on me."
"It's no problem really, you belong here. This is your home."
She chuckled.
"I guess it is but, I do have to protect my moors. Who will do it while I'm gone?"
"Stay for a while. I'll get some fae to help protect your moors and when you learned all about yourself and us you can leave and the fae will return."
They started walking and chatting.
Little did they know they were playing right into each other's arms.
