(Let me know if you predicted what Kennedy confirms!)
[Do You Believe in Miracles?]
Sam, Kennedy and Castiel were holding a feral Dean back from Gadreel, who was slumped to the floor bleeding angel grace everywhere. Dean wrangled from their grasp and stood to face Sam and Kennedy who were blocking his way to Gadreel.
"Drop the blade, Dean," Sam and Kennedy ordered.
"Move," Dean spat.
"Dean," Sam called. "Look at us."
"Sam! Kennedy! Move! Aah!"
Castiel jumped Dean from the side and Sam and Kennedy leapt in to grab Dean's right arm and the blade.
Sam and Kennedy were trying to wrestle the blade from his grasp. "Let it go! Let it go! Let it go."
A few seconds later in the bunker's dungeon, Sam, Castiel and Kennedy shoved Dean inside and stood between them and the door.
"The hell if you think I'm riding the pine on this one, guys," Dean said.
"Something is wrong with you, Dean," Sam replied. "And until we figure out what, this is where you have to stay."
"And you are gonna do what? Take on Metatron yourselves? That's smart. Oh, no, wait. No, you," he motioned to Castiel, "you lost your Angel army. And you two," he motioned to Sam and Kennedy, "now you're both trying to lock up the one guy who has a shot at killing the son of a bitch! Hell of a plan, fellas, lady!"
Kennedy stared at her husband, both sad and disappointed before running to the bathroom.
In silence, Sam and Castiel turned and pushed the doors shut. They locked Dean in the dungeon.
"Look, hey, guys," Dean said. "Sam. Sammy!"
In the main room of the bunker, Sam and Castiel put the First Blade into a box on the table.
Kennedy rejoined them and Sam glanced at her. "You okay? You've been doing that a lot lately."
She nodded. "I'm fine."
"Sam," Castiel called, glancing at the blonde almost like he was sure of something he had previously suspected.
"Yeah?" Sam asked.
"Dean... wasn't wrong. My followers have abandoned me."
"Yeah, and Gadreel says he can help us," Sam replied. "From where Kennedy and I sit, that's more than an even trade."
They looked over to where Gadreel should have been on the floor but there was a lot of blood and no Gadreel.
In the dungeon, Dean was throwing up on the floor and coughing horribly. He recovered a little and walked towards a small mirror in the cabinet. His mouth was covered in the blood he'd been coughing up.
INT. METATRON'S OFFICE - HEAVEN
Metatron and his assistant Neil were in Metatron's office. Metatron was concentrated on what he was writing in a fury on his typewriter.
"So, uh, Metatron," Neil said. "Metatron. God?"
Metatron looked up. "Just a second."
"Is that the new Angel handbook you're working on, or, uh...?"
"No, no, this is a story, Neil, a marvelous story, full of heartbreak and... love."
"Sort of like "The Notebook.""
"Uh..."
"I love "The Notebook.""
"No." He grabbed two outfits rom the chair and eld them up for Neil to look at. "Quick. Which makes me look more pathetic?"
