The next morning, Danny was startled awake by the noise of her Jack-In-The-Box popping open. She wondered who set it down on her desk as she closed and picked it up, caring it with her back upstairs.

Danny found the toy room door open, once again, but she stopped as she saw that most of the toys were now on the floor, Jester & Dolly now playing with a few of the vintage playthings. Dolly waved at Danny with a smile, Jester giggling as Danny set the Jack-In-The-Box back on the shelf, just realizing that the two had pulled a small prank on her.

After Danny had set the wind-up toy down, she noticed that the other dolls apart from Annabelle, Brahms, and the ventriloquist doll 'Willie', had gone somewhere else as well.

Danny ventured back downstairs, guessing that they had gone into the backyard, but she found Jigsaw sitting peacefully at the table, scribbling on a piece of paper while one of the ventriloquist dolls, this one was named 'Slappy', was sitting in front of Jigsaw, reading one of the books that Danny had.

Although Danny saw that those two were peacefully minding their own business, she noticed that she was right about the rest of them heading to the backyard. Danny stepped outside, spotting the Good Guy doll, 'Chucky' childishly fighting Robert over the slide, while Jigsaw's brother 'Billy' watched the two in confusion. Danny then noticed Blade sitting by himself on the other side of the backyard, silently messing with the dirt.
