CHAPTER 38: MEETING THEIR UNCLE HENRY

===A Month Later===

Elmer raised his robotic arm in the air, a fresh, pink apple on his hand. His other hand was slinging his black back pack on his left shoulder. His blood red eyes gleamed happily.

"Ate, let's go!", he shouted.

Eleina was bringing her red back pack. She huffed, her light brown bangs flying off for a moment. Her white eyes kinda showed some boredom.

"Can't you wait?", she frowned.
"C'mon! We're getting late!", Elmer groaned, running off.

Eleina huffed again.

"Fine, I'm coming!", she frowned.

And they all walked off.

===School===

Eleina walked on the cobblestone-lined walkway, along with an excited Elmer and the multitude of other students either walking or running excitedly towards the huge and wide Quartz building, a golden colored gate guarding the front of the school.

"Eleina! Elmer!"

They both stopped on their tracks, smiling at each other.

They both spun behind them, and saw a little, dark green haired boy, running excitedly towards them. His black eyes were contrasting against his fair skin. His white pupils were gleaming softly, a smile on his lips.

It was Zaxein.

"Zax!", Elmer squealed.
"Oh, are you on a rush too?", Eleina asked.
"Uhh... Yeah... I'm almost late!", Zax frowned.
"Let's go! The guard might close the gates!", Elmer hissed, as he pulled the two to the entrance.

As they entered, they looked around.

Vast sea of students — Daycares, Elementary, Juniors and Seniors — were walking around.

The halls were kinda dusty, and on the floor was lined with surprisingly clean red carpet. Every room had iron doors. Teachers, wearing pink blouses and black jeans or skirts, were also roaming around.

Zaxein twiddled with his black pants nervously, his eyes swerving around.

"Look at the new students!"
"They looked so different!"
"They might be monsters!"

Elmer huffed.

"It ain't new to us.", he frowned.
"First day at our new school.", Eleina shrugged.
"Why in the whole world should we be in here? I mean... We had a school back in HQ.", Zaxein shrugged.
"Look, we must know about Humans. About stuff that they know. It had been years and the only Humans that were back there were only Mom, Dad, and General Mike. Ceris was an Ender of course.", Eleina flatly explained.

The two guys just nodded. Then they walked on their own ways.

===Eleina's Class===

Eleina stepped in.

It was clean and tidy. There were students here, there... On every corner. They were playing with those square, notebook-like thing called phones. They're pretty advanced. Eleina was feeling a lot awkward.

The students glared at her.

"Look at her!"
"She's so black!"
"Her eyes!"
"Is she a monster?"

Eleina knew that this would happen: she went to a Human school when she was still Elementary.

She just sat down on an empty seat.

"That's my chair!"

A guy, having mean, green eyes and golden hair, hissed.

"Is it? I'm sorry... But I came here first.", she calmly replied.
"Fuck off, little lady!", a girl butted in.
