CHAPTER 47: FEARLESS CHILDREN

===A Month Later===

Elmer and Eleina were training the Army.

"General Michael, General Zombrine...", Eleina called.

The said Generals arrived.

"Yes, my Lady?", they both asked politely.
"Can you please guide them in their training? We must go to the End and check Ceris out.", Eleina asked.
"She haven't visited here since Henry took control of the Nether.", Elmer said.

The two Generals nodded, smiling.

"As you wish, Sir.", they said.
"You will encounter the Ender Dragon, the Guardian of the End Cities... She knows you, and she will lead you to Ceris' place.", Naeus butted in, his Nether Flame Spear in hand.
"Thank you for the advise, King Naeus.", Elmer smiled.

Naeus nodded, and the two children walked off.

===The End===

As the two kids emerged from the End Portal, they were met by a magnificent, purple-eyed, black dragon.

It was the dreaded Ender Dragon.

The Dragon spoke to them in a gentle, womanly voice.

"Welcome to the End, Lady Eleina and Sir Elmer... Shall I escort you to the End City?", she asked.
"Yes, thank you.", Eleina smiled, as the dragon spread her wings and lay lower to let them climb to her back.

The children climbed on the Dragon's back, and gently flapped her wings, flying to the End Cities.

"Geesh... It's been long and I still wasn't used to be called 'Sir Elmer' by people a lot older than me.", Elmer frowned.

Eleina giggled.

"You're not the only one.", she smiled.

===The End Cities===

The Dragon landed on a spot in front of the huge End Cities.

The children slid down from the Dragon's back.

"Thank you.", Eleina smiled.
"You're welcome, Sir, Ma'am.", the Dragon smiled back, spreading her enormous wings and flying away to the dark, starless voids of the Ender Sky.

Elmer and Eleina looked at the huge, purple and white colored building in front of them.

Endermen were teleporting here and there. Shulkers were peeking from time to time, sometimes teleporting to random locations.

They both walked in.

The Endermen bowed, paying respect to them.

"Welcome to the End Cities, UAM Leaders."

Just then, Ceris, the End Matriarch, came to view.

"Oh, Lady Eleina, Sir Elmer. I didn't expect you to come here.", she smiled.

And they all walked to the Meeting Room.

"We just wanted to check you up... You haven't been visiting the Overworld since Netheria has fallen.", Eleina said.

Ceris smiled at them, as she opened the huge, iron doors leading to the Meeting Room.

She sat on the chair in front of the table.

"Sit down.", Ceris smiled, pointing at the empty chairs beside the two children.

And they both sat down.

"I'm glad that you came over here for a visit.", she said.
"We were kinda worried about you...", Eleina said.
"Thank you for worrying, but... We can handle this.", Ceris nodded.
"Have you had any plans if Henry comes in?", Elmer asked.
"Oh, yes... I have evacuated all of the citizens to the Overworld, in a camp far from yours, so that Henry cannot pinpoint their location.", Ceris answered.

"I left the best men here with me and the Dragon on the Gates so she can warn us about it.", she added.

The two children nodded.

"Cunning plan...", Eleina smiled.
"Then what?", Elmer further asked.
"We will try and defend the City. If we can't hold them off, we will use the secret portal to flee, with the Relics with us. Henry's surely after them.", Ceris answered.

"What's with the Relics?"
"Power... Immense power... So powerful, it can rebuild the Third Dimension: the Aether."

The kids gasped.

"The Aether?"
"Yes... It was a brighter counterpart of the Nether. But we cannot bring the Ancient Angels of Aetheria back."
"Why?"
"Henry absorbed the power of the Nether Eye."

Naeus cleared his throat.

Everyone looked at him.

"Oh Naeus...", Ceris said, quite shocked.
"I just followed them both.", he smiled.
"About the Nether Eye?", Elmer asked.

Naeus looked at them one by one.

"He stole it from King Glutton, the actual Pig King that I have killed because of treachery. Him and Henry had been allies ever since Henry was seven.

Henry actually got the Eye from my neck, and I still feel guilty about letting his hands on the Relic. Now, he had the power of it: Death and Black Magic. That's why he can easily make an army.

He took away its power for the Third Dimension, which is a good thing.", Naeus narrated.

"Why?", Eleina asked.
"The Angels can and will vanquish mankind for eternity."
"That's why it's a relief that he took it's power. The Aether can live out if he didn't."

The two nodded.

"He also had my weakness: the Nether Skull. It had the power over Skeletons, Withered or not. It cannot control my mind, but it can weaken me greatly.", Naeus sighed.
"What other Relics does the Nether have?", Eleina asked.
"The Nether Star.", Naeus answered, reaching out his hand, and summoning a shimmering and glowing, white star on his hand.

Ceris nodded.

"The Nether had more Relics than the End. I still had the Ender Eye and the Ender Blades. Both had immense powers. So immense, even I myself don't know what powers does it hide.", she answered.

The two children gave a nod.

"We understand...", Elmer smiled.
"Now, we must plan this out, since King Naeus was with us.", Eleina said.

The two leaders nodded.

===Headquarters, Night===

As Elmer and Eleina entered the place, soldiers greeted them.

"Good eve, Sir, Ma'am...", they greeted.
"Good evening too, Soldiers.", the children politely answered back.

As they approached the pair of huge oak doors, they were met by General Michael and General Zombrine, with their son, Zaxein.

"Oh, Ate Eleina, Kuya Elmer! How's the meeting in the End?", he asked.
"So far, we just planned a defense line in case Henry comes here or in the End.", Elmer answered.
"I'm relieved that they were just okay...", General Mike sighed.
"How's your training Zax?", Elmer asked the Half-Blood.
"Uhh... It's great! I have learned a lot.", Zaxein proudly said.

General Zombrine giggled softly.

"Little Zax was learning very quickly. He almost outsmarted us in our sparring session.", he said.
"Oh, I think that's great improvement alright...", Elmer smiled.
"Well, we wanna test your skills against ours.", Eleina challenged.
"Sure! So that I will know where should I improve!", Zaxein eagerly agreed.

The siblings smiled, and nodded.

"Let's proceed to the Training Grounds.", Eleina said.

And they all went to the said place, Zaxein on the lead.

===Netheria===

"Prepare soldiers...", Henry sneered.

"We shall attack the End next!"
