Oops Wrong Number

You Cheated?

Clint was feeling bad. He knew Tony was selfish but to cheat on Pepper, the woman who accompanied him when he was going through made his blood boil. He just wanted to tell Pepper and hand her his bow.

He knew acting on impulse was never going to result positive so he decided to take someone else's point of view too. He decided to tell about it to the only lady of the team. Natasha.

Natasha was in her room sharpening her knives when Clint knocked. "Come in" She said. Clint walked in and flopped in her bed. "What happened? Why are you here?" Nat asked. "You're so cold. I just wanted to hang out with my best friend". Clint said.

"Cut the bullshit Clint I know when something's on your mind" Natasha said. "That's so sweet in a way". Clint said. Nat sighed. "I think Tony is cheating". Clint blurted out. "On Pepper?" Nat asked. "Of course on Pepper who else then?" He asked.

"Alright follow me. We will get to the bottom of this. Pepper doesn't deserve this". She said walking out.

They sneaked into the lab watching Tony like a hawk while he worked. When he went for a washroom break they jumped out and opened his phone. Scrolling through chats as they were about to open one Tony came in.

"What are you guys doing?!" He asked. Natasha caught Tony by his collar. "You are even selfish than I thought?" She said. At that moment Pepper walked in. "What is going on here?" She exclaimed.

"Tony's cheating on you". Clint said. "What?" Both Tony and Pepper said. Pepper looked at Tony and he immediately shook his head. "I saw him texting someone and laughing yesterday". Clint said.

"You're talking about Peter". Pepper said face-palming. "What?" Natasha and Clint asked. "He texted a wrong number while feeling down and he cheered him up. Tony told me everything yesterday". Pepper said. "You" Tony and Natasha said to Clint who shrunk. "Not allowed in vents for a month". Tony said.

Natasha banged him on his head. "You checked him?" Tony asked. "Of course for all I knew he could be a spy of HYDRA". Pepper said. "Well what did you find out?" Tony asked. Natasha and Clint were now standing beside Tony listening to their convo.

"Well I mean he is a positive soul from what you showed me from the chat but it must be hard with all his life incidents". Pepper said. "What?" Tony asked. "Ah I mean he's an orphan. Lost his parents at 3 in a plane crash. Then went to live with his Uncle and Aunt where his Uncle died like the previous year". Pepper explained.

"Jesus Christ" all 3 mumbled. "Thinking the one who cheered me up is more depressed than me". Tony said. "Could you give us some time?" Pepper asked. Natasha and Clint nodded and left the room.

"You memorized the number?" Clint asked. "Of course. Not the number 1 spy without any reason". Natasha said. Clint made and offended face. "Well let's text him. I mean Tony did say he sent some quite funny memes". Clint said.

They both entered the number and texted.
