THE FOUR OF THEM MADE THEIR WAY THROUGH HOGSMEADE after leaving Honeydukes. Ron mentioned that this trip would not be enjoyable, and he was proved right when they saw Mundungus outside the entrance of The Three Broomsticks, selling items that he had stolen from Headquarters.
Aliana only stood still at the situation as she saw Harry fuming with anger. A women with mousey hair came along to calm Harry down after Mundungus had Disapparated, waiting as the four of them walked inside the Three Broomsticks, with Aliana not knowing what to say. Instead, she told them to sit down as she went to get some butterbeers for the group.
"Can't the Order Control Mundungus?" Harry asked still clearly furious. "Can't they stop him from stealing anything that isn't fixed in Headquarters?"
Hermione quickly shushed him, looking around the room cautiously. There were only a few warlocks around and Aliana was still waiting for their drinks.
"I too would be annoyed if someone was taking my things-"
Harry had completely forgotten that 12 Grimmauld Place was his after Sirius left it in his will. Harry wanted to say more, but was quickly shut up as Aliana came back, slightly struggling holding four butterbeers on her own.
She made her way next to Harry, quietly sipping her drink.
"I don't know what happened out there or why," she finally said. "But whoever that was I'm sorry they made you angry."
It was strange to see Aliana, who was always composed and straightforward, fumble with her words of sympathy.
"I'll be right back." Aliana rushed out of The Broomsticks, leaving a confused trio behind.
"Where is she going?" Harry and Hermione shrugged at Ron's question. The three talked more, with Hermione being relieved that Harry had calmed down and promised to speak to Dumbledore about Mundungus. They made their way out of the The Three Broomsticks, with Harry making sure that Aliana's thin scarf protected the exposed areas of his neck.
"Should we wait for her?" Harry asked.
"We don't know where she is. Let's just walk ahead and hopefully she catches up."
The trio walked with difficulty through the strom. Everything, even the air, was covered with a thick layer of snow. Harry didn't understand how Hogsmeade trip was allowed with this type of weather.
They couldn't even hear the loud steps of Aliana behind them, who was trying to catch up despite being running against the wind.
"Hermione! Potter! Weasley!"
The trio finally heard Aliana, stopping and turning around, facing a panting Aliana.
"Where have you been?"
"Believe it or not, at Madam Puddifoot's."
"Why were you there?" Ron asked that time. Aliana opened up a bag that she had beside her, presenting the group with five small boxes labeled with different flavors of cake.
"It took a lot of persuading, since I wasn't a couple, but I finally got them." Aliana looked up directly at Harry.
"I felt bad that you were upset and angry, so I wanted to cheer you up somehow. Everywhere else was closed and we had always went to Honeydukes so..." Aliana smiled, her cheeks becoming red. "I hope this helps. We can have them in the common room when we get back."
Harry had never seen Aliana be that genuine before. In fact, there were a lot of things new with Aliana. They were quick changes but not bad ones.
Harry liked this side of Aliana Snape.
He was about to give his thanks, but was interrupted by a loud scream coming from behind them. The four of them quickly ran in the direction of the scream, and horror washed on all their faces when they has a floating Katie Bell with her mouth wide open, an object slightly exposed lying on the snowy ground.
