One Year Later...
"Are you positive you're okay with this Katherine?"
Lily was finally about to ask Luke out and she was so nervous which was precisely why she was yet again asking this question.
Katherine playfully rolled her eyes, pretending to be annoyed, but she failed to hide the affectionate smile playing on her lips.
"He makes you happy right?"
"Yes he does."
"Then get yourself over there and ask the question!"
Lily smiled. "Thanks sis."
"Don't thank me, go on, you've got a good looking someone waiting for you, he's going to get impatient soon, I can tell!"
Lily ruffled her sister's hair, then started to walk up to Luke.
Katherine shook her head fondly as she watched her amazing sister. They really had gotten closer over the past year, without having to worry about anything separating them. True, they both would have arguments and other ups and downs, but the two sisters would in some way, find their way home to each other, no matter what.
Just like they had, on that winter's night.
