You did try and ignore Draco but couldn't and he smirked every time you looked his way or was caught looking at him you sometimes save yourself by looking at something else or say one of your friends is by Draco and you then walk by Draco pretending not to have noticed him to your friend

Every time he would smirk as you walk over to him then he'd frown as you walk past him to your friend

Draco walks over to you as you were with your friends "I know you can't stay away so don't fight it." He says and Harry and Ron were laughing as you didn't know what to say

"You both shut up." You say and they look at you as hermione sighs

"Just accept it y/n I get it your family has a very certain criteria for dating and marriage and they even added a new one when you got your Hogwarts letter but your parents aren't here. I may hate Draco not sorry but he's your soulmate kinda have to accept my child hood best friends soulmate."  Hermione says and you nod

"I guess I'm just scared of them I don't wanna get hurt again when my dad hurts me it always leaves a scar on me and I don't want anymore please!" You say as you started hyperventilating thinking of when your dad hurts you and Draco hugs you

"I'll protect you don't worry like they can do anything to me my family is superior." Draco says and you sigh as take a few deep breaths

"Yes only in the wizard world my family is in the muggle world and everyone respects them your family can't do anything in the muggle world Draco and why would they I'm a muggle born." You say and he didn't know what to say but he just kissed you and you kissed him back

"Fuck already guys we said this before the sexual tension is too high." Fred and George says and you and Draco look at them like what the fuck

"No what the hell we barely know each other." You and Draco say at the same time as they shrug

"Hey your supposed to spend forever with them who cares really." Ron says and you look at him shocked

"Then go do your soulmate spell or what have you already done it? And let me guess it's food right?" You say and Ron laughs

"Yeah definitely. But truth is I don't want to be in a relationship yet maybe after Hogwarts I can do it but I'm Hogwarts no a soulmate would get in the way." Ron says and everyone else then laughs

"Yeah and honestly I heard about two soulmates who got married at 15 and no thanks." Hermione says as you laugh

"Yeah no not gonna be me." You say and Draco chuckles as he smiles at you
