A couple weeks have passed since the red carpet premiere. One of the best nights I'd ever experienced since I've arrived in L.A.

I was currently pacing in a circle in my trailer. It was about 11:45 a.m. and everyone would be arriving right about now. Mrs. Susan had the cast reschedule their scenes today in order to watch the scene I'll be performing. I arrived around 7 a.m. to read the script and practice it with my on-screen parents who were only going to be here for this day.

Though we practiced and went over the scene for almost 4 hours, I was still unsure about everything. I've never done a scene like this before. It was out my range and I wasn't sure I was capable of handling it. I walked with the book in hands, my eyes darting around the page, mumbling words. I think the main reason I was so nervous was because I knew everyone was going to be on-set, their eyes on me as I go through my emotions.

I guess I was scared how everyone was going to react. No one knew about this scene, except my "parents", Mrs. Susan, the writers and I. And I was terrified that I wouldn't perform it up to Mrs. Susan's expectations and I would disappoint everyone.

I was overthinking to the max when a knock on the door scared me out of my thoughts.

"It's time Miss Ami, Mrs. Susan and everyone is waiting for you." I took a deep breath. My shaking hands holding my water bottle and script. I exited the trailer room and slowly made my way towards the set.

There were rows of chairs lined up with a walkway in the middle. Sort of a bleacher form kind of way, like at a high school. It felt like a movie theater, except we were filming the movie. People filled up the seats, Louis, Willie, Timmy, Jo and Alex had reserved the seats right in front, next to the camera.

I felt their eyes on me as I got in position. I glanced up at them, them giving me confused but happy looks. I took a deep breath as I sat down, makeup artists at my side, touching up some makeup or hair that had gotten out of place.

A man walked in front of the camera holding the clapper board. "Scene 63; take 1! Camera rolling."

And the scene began.

The Scene:

Ami was sitting on the couch right across her parents in the living room. Her hands fumbled as she felt her parents eyes bore into her skull, nervous to look up, her heart beating so fast it felt like it was going to pop.

Her parents had been sitting in that position since she had walked through the front door after school had ended. She wanted so desperately to shut herself in her room and blast music while dancing stupidly, not having a care in the world, but once she heard how deep her dad's voice had spoken to her and how her mom avoided eye contact with her, she knew it was serious and she couldn't get out of it.

She sat on the couch, staring deeply at the table legs as if she was analyzing every part of it. She cleared her throat before speaking up, "So what's wr-" she started before her dad interrupted her.

"What the hell is this?" Her dad turned behind him, showing Ami her computer and opening the screen. The tab was opened to a college that she had researched for the past two years, it was her dream college. It was specifically opened to where it said "Literature Majors."

She dared not to look up at her parents as she was scared at what their faces full of disappointment, anger and confusion looked like. The thing was, she's not supposed to be researching literature degrees. Not any of that bullshit, her dad would say.
