time

"How long have you been there?"
"Not long." Luke looks like hes gonna punch caleb in the face, "oh calm down. I'm not here to hurt anyone, I'm just here to drop off your birthday present like I do every year. I didnt expect you to be here."
"Its your birthday?" Luke asks.
I shrug my shoulders. "I stopped worrying about time a long time ago. I dont even know what month it is."
"Well happy birthday."
"Thanks."
Caleb snaps his fingers and fabrics of every texture and color appear, then five notebooks show up on my desk, some more colored pencils too, after that he snaps once more and my make shift lightbulbs are replaced by a light fixture that looks like a firework appears on the ceiling. A bunch of little lights appear on the cieling like stars.
I look around in awe, turning in a circle.
Caleb walks up to me, and puts his hands on my shoulders. I feel luke tense up next to me.
"Happy birthday bean."
He gives me a kiss on the forehead, let's go of my shoulders and dissapears.
I stand there. Frozen in place.
"Y/n?" Luke says, are you okay.
"Yeah I just... my mother used to call me that. Hiw did he-" i shake my head and turn to luke. I wrap my arms around his neck, standing on my tiptoes.
He wraps his arms around my waist.
I look down and remember that I'm still wearing my dress.
"I should probably change and then I'll bring the other dress to julie." I say quietly.
He nods but doesnt let me go. We stay like that for what feels like forever before we actually move apart from one another.
"Hey y/n?"
I look up at him "hmm?"
I walks over and kisses me. Is slow and passionate, and I sink into him immediately.
When he finally pulls away he says, "I've gotta go, I love you." He kisses me on the forehead.
"I love you too."
Then he dissapears.
