"You are good for nothing, you moron", he yelled as I broke one of his precious vase. After apologising, I ran quickly to my room as I got pretty scared.

Kabir Raichand, the richest man in the town was my 'father'. Born with a silver spoon, he was rich and powerful. Money was all he craved for. He was the most handsome and royal guy for this world, the ugliest soul for me. He had sharp features, pointed nose, light brown eyes and he was white as snow. He made women go weak in the knees. He was made of sheer arrogance. Devoid of emotions, he was heartless.

"Saniya, darling i have got one important meeting this evening, it might end a little late. So don't you keep waiting for me at the dinner table? Ok bye, sweetheart", said Kabir Raichand. Before my mother could respond to it, he left. He had no time for his family. He just came home to sleep. He was drowned in the world of drugs and alcohol. After money his second favourite thing was 'drugs'.

"Hey honey! I am so sorry. Please don't get angry. I'll be there within 10 minutes. Love you, bye", said Mr. Raichand during the telephonic conversation. Unfortunately, my mother had heard this conversation. She quietly walked down the stairs with gloomy eyes. When i saw her, I asked-"Mommy, why are you crying?" And she said-"Nothing, just a headache. Ronak you just go and play."

"Saniya, Saniya....where the hell are you? I am getting late. Where are my car keys?", asked my so called father.

"Here it is. By the way, where are you going in such a hurry", she asked.

"What silly questions you are asking, huh? I am going to the office obviously".

"Really, for your kind information today's a holiday."

He said-"But i have some important projects to discuss, so now i got to leave, I am late already. Bye!"

He left immediately. My mother locked herself in the room and cried for several hours. Her eyes went blood red. I got to know the root cause of her headache, only after reading her personal diary.

It was her who had taught me reading. She had recorded all her sorrows in it.

I curse Kabir Raichand for being deceitful, unloyal and for being a 'big shot'. He made my life, a curse, after her death.
