Stop fiddling with it! I mentally yell at myself. I finally got the courage to propose to Alexander... of course I hope the answer will be yes.
Him being the friends loving idiot he is I've got the chance to sing at my restaurant, first I've got to text him to come over there. All my other workers wish me the best of luck.

6 O'clock
I'm standing up the front of the restaurant when Alex walks in and stares in shock with me on the guitar. He doesn't know that I can play...
I start singing in what Alex calls my angelic singing voice.
"So no one told you life was gonna be this way!"
The whole restaurant claps
"Your jobs a joke your broke your love life's D.O.A"
"It's like your always stuck in second gear,"
"When hasn't been your day, your week, your month or even your year but-"
All of Alex's friends burst out of backstage and start singing along, there all holding up signs that say "WERE HERE FOR YOU" in rainbow letters with a little (whatever there sexuality is) flag.
We changed the lyrics to: "we'll be there for you"
The Schuyler sisters came out and sang "when the rain starts to fall"
Everyone sung "we'll be there for you"
Herc and Laf came out and sang "cause we've been there before"
"We'll be there for you"
The whole restaurant sunk and sang "Cause your there for us too-oo"
I walked off the stage and up to Alex and so does everyone behind me with signs with SAY YES and Laf's one was SAY OUI
I finally got myself ready and did my speech
"I was never told that I was gonna meet you, my job is a joke and I am broke, but my love life is not D.O.A." I chuckle a bit after my last line.
"I am always stuck in second gear because I'm struck by your love and affection 24/7" I laugh again. Lexi is crying now because he knows what's happening.
"Your not gonna be my day, or my week, or my month, or my year. You're gonna be my whole life. I'm gonna be there for you when the rain starts to fall, I'm gonna be there for you because I have been there before. But I'm gonna be there for you because I wanna spend the rest of my life with you.
"Alexander Hamilton will you make me the happiest man alive and marry me?"
Lexi was in such shock that he could just nod and jump up on me. I could hear roars of delight from everyone as we kissed in the middle of the restaurant whilst spinning around.
"The ring fits, I hope-"
"Yes, freckles"
I whispered in his ear "I will be there for you"
