Christmas Time

So this is kinda inspired by the happiest season so yeah. And this is a part 2

Alex POV
It's my 3rd Christmas with John. Here's the story.

"I wanna marry him." I say to Laf as he's on his phone. Laf spits out his tea and I snort.

"Excuse moi?" He says back to me as he puts his phone down.

"I, Alexander Hamilton, want to marry, himself John Laurens." I say again. As he continues to go back on his phone.

"No." He says. "No, what? And what are you doing on your phone?" I reply confused and slightly disappointed that he is on his phone instead of look

"Oh, I left a very kind gentleman alone in my apartment so I'm tracking him to make sure he leaves." He says calmly not looking away from his screen. "Your tracking, him?" I exclaim a little loud. "Yeah and? If the NSA can do it so can I" (John quote). Typical Laf.

"Ok you! Are married yourself so I have the right to be too" I say. "Do you want to come get this ring or not?" I say a little frustrated. "Your picking up the ring today?! Of course!"

"Oh Alex, it's beautiful." Laf says with his hand covering his mouth. "Hey yours is beautiful too it's just not as extra or as feminine."

Proposal
I decided to propose in Central Park. There's a beautiful place that John loves with all his heart. It's a simple forest with a lake with a bridge on top.

"Alright shut your eyes!" I say guiding him to a heart of roses with Laf holding up an M and many other friends spelling the words MARRY ME? "Can I open yet?" he questions me. "Yep!" He gasps at the sight around him. I take hold of his hands. I begin my speech.

"The moment I saw you for the very first time will be stuck into my memory till the end of the days." I start sweating and I get really nervous but I want to marry him so I continue.

"It was the evening when the course of my life radically changed its direction. I remember you joyfully dancing at the bar with Herc and Laf, you were having so much fun. Not giving a damn to any homophobic in the world." I shut my eyes and picture it in my head.

"I keep in the sanctuary of my heart every minute we shared because from the first moment I was totally overwhelmed by you. I thought I would never have a chance with you."

"I was certainly sure that they would love you. However, when I saw you playing with my dog," I laugh.

"I understood that you are the one I want to share every day of my entire life with." I said, John knew what was happening.

"I do not know how it had been possible to live without your support and cheerfulness, without listening to you rapping and singing." I say and chuckle a bit.

"Watching you dancing when you think nobody sees." He blushes I love watching John dance when he doesn't know. It makes me fall even more in love with him if that's possible.

"I love dreaming with you because you understand me as nobody would ever understand. I love being ill if I know that you will be near and take care of me even though that probably happens to Maddison more." I laugh and so does he through crying.

"You encourage me to get up every morning, to do great deeds for you, and to constantly become better. You are my inspiration, my motivation, and my desirous goal." I said.

"You know like nobody what is a happiness and where it is hidden. We both want to have a colorful and memorable life, and together we can make our dreams come true." I started crying myself.

"There's one more thing left to say." I get down on my knee.

"John Laurens will you-." They stand up and hold up their signs one by one as high as they could to make the words again MARRY ME. I open the box "Marry me?"

"I love you. But-" He kissed me.

I was honestly disappointed in the moment where I thought he would say no but then it happened. "Yes you idiot of course I'll marry you." Everyone over there holding up the signs started cheering and Herc even wolf whistled. I tried to pick up the freckled face boy to kiss him but I fell over but I still kissed him. "Merry Christmas, I love you." I said looking into his eyes. "Merry Christmas, I love you too." He said through smiling. This is my Christmas present.
