Rin's POV
I looked out the window as I'm being driven to school. It's sunny this time, the sun is almost blinding. Though I kind of like it like that, for me it has always been a sigh to say that I'm going to have a good day. It doesn't always work, mind you. It only works sometimes.
The limo unexpectedly stops and I then realize that we have arrived at school. I quickly get out, bid my goodbye to the driver and start walking towards the school building. As I walked, everyone's eyes were on me. I wonder why. People know Mother..not me. But for some reason, nobody says anything.
I walk quietly into my designated classroom and unknowingly bump into someone. It's a boy. The first boy I've seen in a long time...
"Ahh...I'm sorry, I didn't mean to bump into you...please don't be mad!" I quickly bowed while talking but the boy just pushed past me with a blond haired boy trailing behind him.
"Mou..Ryoma! You just appeared out of nowhere, it you can't expect me not to hit you!" The blond haired boys voice tails of, getting fainter and fainter as they walk away. I swung and walk to a random desk, pulling out a book in the process.
Right when I'm about to start reading, someone taps my shoulder. I look over and realize that it's that blond boy again. How did they get over here so fast?
"Um, my name's Len and I, um...that's my desk...we all have assigned seats so..." Len mutters. Wow, I've never seen a boy so nervous while talking to a girl before. But I'm not any better when talking to boys so I guess I cant judge.
I smile at him, get up and start looking only to realize there aren't any seats left. Then I see a tiny desk right at the beck of the classroom that no one is occupying. I take that chance and sit down. It's a bit uncomfortable but I can live with that.
The bell for first period rings and our teacher walks in. She looks bored. I thought teachers where supposed to be cherry and nice but this one looked like she wanted to be anywhere but here.
"Okay, today we have a new student, Rin Kagamine, daughter of the famous Shiri Kagamine." She said in a monotones voice. She was defiantly excited (note sarcasm). I sighed quietly to myself before getting up and walking to the front of the classroom.
Len's POV
You know how I was scared last night when I thought it was Dad who came home? Well, I had gotten bat ready to hit him in case Dad tried to him me. But before I could register that it was actually Ryoma, I had already swung it towards him. And that resulted in Ryoma getting a huge bump on the side of him head.
I had tried explaining to Ryoma that it was an accident but he wouldn't listen. I'm sure he'll come around, hopefully.
When we walked into the classroom for First Period I noticed a blonde girl with a bow on her head sitting at my desk. I walk over to here and tells her that that's my seat (i acted really cool about it too, I might add), she smiles politely and gets up. I look back to her and I see that she sat in desk that's way back in the classroom. I wonder if she knows yet....about that desk...and who used to sit in it.
Our teacher walks into the classroom and says something about a new student. I'm not listening fully. All of a sudden, the blonde girl stands up and walks to the front of the room.
"Hello everyone, my name is Rin Kagamine. I'm sure you have all heard of my mother, Shiri Kagamine. I just want so say that I want you to treat me as a normal individual and not as an important person. I look forward to being your classmate." After she finished her completely unnecessary speech, she smiled, a smile that glowed like the shining sun and a smile that sparkled like beautiful morning dew.
I could only stare at her and as I did I discovered her stunning looks. A thought popped into my head and suddenly I knew exactly want to do when I arrived home.
A note fluttered onto my lap. I picked it up curiously. I had never gotten a note before, my heart started to beat faster as I realized that it might have been from Kagamine-san. She should have sat down at her desk again by know.
I gently opened the piece of paper, getting excited with every moment. Then, my heart dropped, it was from Ryoma. Not that I don't like Ryoma or anything like that.
Hey, Len
Got your eyes set on the new rich girl huh? Good Luck.
I felt my cheeks redden as I read the last word. How he had noticed, I have no idea but it felt good to know that my best friends had my back. I folded the note, slipped it into my pocket and turning back to the lesson but not before shooting a grin towards my best friend.
I even caught a smile back. It wasn't a grin but it was something.
Rin's POV
After class had ended, I sat at my desk reading. Suddenly a girl with striking emerald eyes and chocolate brown hair held up by a yellow bow walked over to me. And lets not forget the green watch on her left hand. She held out her hand.
"Hiya! My name is Hikaru Sakamoto. I hope we can be good friends." She smiled at me, such an amazing smile that it compelled me to smile back.
"N-nice to meet you, Sakamoto-san."
"Call me Hikaru, ne?" She grinned at me, it was like she was forcing me. I nodded all the same.
"Hai. Then you can call me Rin." I put my book down. "So what do you normally do on weekends?" I froze and looked down. That was probably a stupid thing to ask someone.
She chuckled, "You look so cute when your all shy like that. Kyaa, you blushed, you blushed!"
I felt my cheeks getting redder and redder. I smiled up at her and started laughing out off the blue. I sounded a bit weird but soon after Hikaru joined in. School isn't half as bad as kids on TV made it seem like.
A/N: I kind of ran out of things to write at the end but I didn't want it to be short so I tried to extend it. Picture of Hikaru on the right, or where ever it is.
