15 years later
Hiccup Haddock hurtled through the clouds, whooping in sheer delight. The jet figure of his best friend, Toothless twirled next to him, tongue sticking out of the corner of his mouth. As the ground came into view the young man pulled at two straps on his legs. A wide gliding suit extended and he came to a glide above his home village of Berk.
Coming in to land at the massive garden behind his family mansion the young man grinned, adrenaline pumping through his veins. He had never been allowed to fly Toothless in daylight until he was twenty, and finally his life wish had been granted.
He walked inside the house - only to be hit by the freight train known as Fishlegs. "Oh my Thor, oh my Thor, how did you get that to work!"
"Whoa, Fish let me breathe." Hiccup chuckled. The large man stepped back, embarrassed. "Sorry, but you know me."
"That I do Fish." Hiccup commented "So? How do you do it."
As Hiccup opened his mouth to explain a blur of blond hit him along with an angry voice, "Hiccup Haddock how dare you fly IN THE DAY!!"
Hiccup pushed Astrid away from him, hoping he wasn't blushing too much at how close she was "You're starting to sound like my father."
An amused voice sounded behind him "And that's a bad thing, eh"
Hiccup shot around. Standing at the bottom of the stairs stood his father, a wide grin plastered across his face "Oooooh, busted" yelled Tuffnut who, along with his sister had appeared out of the kitchen, covered in flour. Ruffnut echoed him a second after "Hey, that was my line" she said furiously "Was not!" retorted her brother "Butt-elf" she yelled at him "Bride of Grendel" he spat, and the siblings leapt at each other clawing, punching and biting. Snotlout followed them out and walked up to Astrid "Hey, Babe leave that fishbone alone and come with me" He kissed his bicep and smiled. Astrid turned and vomited on Fishlegs "Oh, dear" the husky man groaned
Hiccup face palmed, groaning and a maniacal laugh emanated from the living room. Hiccup walked through the door to see Dagur, on a sofa playing Call of Duty furiously. The ginger spun around and stopped the controller "Brother!" Hiccup was engulfed in a hug as Dagur crashed into him. "Oh, oh yeah Dagur that's enough!" Hiccup wheezed, fighting for breath.
Dagur's cheeks turned the same color as his hair "Sorry" he mumbled. "You should be!" came a warm voice from the sofa. Heather stood up and grinned "And the only way to make it up to Hiccup is by making me a hot chocolate!"
"Alright - wait how does that make up for hugging Hiccup?" Dagur questioned. Heather grinned wickedly "It doesn't, but it does help me!" Hiccup burst out laughing at the statement and Toothless pressed his paws against his ears to block the sound out.
Stoick smiled. "All right, let's have some food" he called over the twins screaming. To be honest, thought Hiccup Dad could do with a little less food.
The scout ran through the army camp and into the Generals quarters "Yes?" a voice like a knife cut through his thoughts "I have a sighting" reported the man and held up several photos of a black shape in the sky "Good" a silenced pistol coughed twice and the scout flew across the tent, blood leaking from his chest. "But we can't have you running around spilling all of our secrets" smirked Drago
"Krogan." he ordered "Get a unit ready. Use lethal force on the humans but if you kill even one dragon you'd sooner commit suicide rather than come back here! " Krogan swallowed and nodded. "When we are finished." he promised "The only thing left of the Haddocks will be a pile of ashes!"
