She opened the capsule and two pills spilt out on to her palm as she shook it gently. Her hand came to her mouth and she tilted her head back and swallowed. She sat on her bed and before she knew it her thoughts were drifting... remembering.
Her father's face was as white as chalk and his head was heavy on his shoulders. Cassy's eyes fluttered and she frowned. Her head throbbed as she tried to move, a constant drumming in rhythm were her heart. Realisation kicked in and she struggled to escape the strong hold of her seat belt that held her prisoner. Jerking angrily at her seat belt, she stretched forward, reaching desperately for her parents. Hot liquid trickled down the side of her face and fell down into the darkness.
"Mom?!" She cried, her voice shaky and raspy. She stretched further against tight grip of her seat belt. It rubbed at her arm until it was saw and enflamed. This time it was hot tears that fell from her swollen eyes and a quiet whimper escaped Cassy's lips as she began to feel faint. "Wake,up..." she whispered. Her head lulled and fell limply onto her shoulders. There was a distant noise in the background somewhere but her eyelids had delivered her to a darkness once more.
