"Look Michael – we know what you and your little crew have done"

I turned to look at Dave, his F.I.B badge glinting in the light. I smirked, I doubted they knew everything.

" I can make all that go away. You can start again. New life, New name, plenty of money – five figure sum to be exact. Every month as well..."

This sounded good.

"You want to hear what I got planned for you?"

"Sure Davie – let's hear it"

I watched as Dave smirked then said

" One more heist, you go in, come out and BANG – Michael goes down in a blaze of glory..."

"And Dave gets a big fat promotion"

I added.

He never answered me, just smiled. That told me everything.

"So once this all goes down, that's it. No more dealings with you?"

"Nothing – clean slate"

Dave said.

I sighed, it could be what I needed. My relationship with Trevor was very secret, but my so called Wife Amanda was sniffing around and getting close to the truth. This could be the only chance...

I sighed, saying

"Sure"

Dave smiled more and nodded. It was done.

I placed my jacket on the back of the sofa and then went back into the bedroom. The next thing I decided to clear was the chest of drawers under the t.v. There wasn't really that many there as T had taken his frustrations out on it. I opened the large bottom drawer as it was the most intact. It was full of papers. I pulled them out and sat on the floor. There were letters from women, some from Brad – not sure if they were genuine or ones that Dave had written. I chucked all of them into a bin bag, and then looked at some more. If they were all sordid letters, I wasn't interested. Amongst random unpaid bills, love letters and other random junk, was a folder. Intact and smart looking. It looked hardly touched. I opened it and slipped out the paper – it was a lease for a house. It hadn't been signed. It was addressed to Trevor, and stated that the property he was interested in was still available and all he had to do was sign the paperwork and hand it back to the office.

Ilooked at the address on the top – should have guessed, Dynasty 8. I wanted toknow more, know why he hadn't signed.

I drove back into Los Santos that evening. I didn't want to stay in what was supposed to be my house as I knew she would be there and she would start on me. That was the last thing that I wanted.

Pulling into a motel, I paid the guy at reception and wandered into the room. I'd head to the office tomorrow morning.
