DECEMBER 25th
daniel bit his lip, eyes concentrated on his boyfriend who was tearing the wrapping paper off his present. he covered his smile with his hand and tilted his head, "you like?" he asked.
corbyn held the blue hoodie out in front of him and laughed, "this is from the rest stop in houston, right? the one where the bus left without us."
daniel nodded, "i saw you eyeing it."
"thank you baby," the brunet pressed a kiss to his lips, "i'd put it on now, but i'm comfy in your hoodie," he giggled, rolling the sleeves down passed his hands. as daniel began to unwrap his gift, corbyn pulled out his phone which had been repeatedly buzzing from within his pocket.
"who is it?" daniel questioned, before laughing at the shot glass he held in his hand, "jesus corbyn, i love you."
corbyn smiled before answering his question, "it's jack," he rolled his eyes, "he's been bothering me about us all morning."
daniel reached out for the phone. corbyn handed it to him, slightly confused as to what he was about to do. he moved himself behind the brunet, wrapping his free arm around the upper half of him. he began recording the two as he leaned over his boyfriend's shoulder and turned his head to press a kiss to the corner of his lips. without any other words or actions he stopped recording and sent it to jack.
"daniel!" corbyn exclaimed, "i think there could've been better ways to go about that," he looked down at his phone again, noticing the video had been seen. the typing dots popped up, corbyn's heart freezing.
daniel kissed him again, sensing the nerves running off the boy. "he's not gonna care, he'll be happy," daniel assured.
seconds later corbyn's phone was filled with jack's unreadable messages.

"see baby," daniel returned to his spot from across the boy, setting aside the scraps of wrapping paper. he then pushed his next present towards corbyn, urging the boy to open it. "i think you'll like this one."
corbyn tore apart the thin paper, revealing a white box. he curiously lifted the cardboard cover and dug out the tissue paper before noticing a glass globe sticking out of the top. he lifted the delicate item out of the packaging, amazed by what he saw.

the bottom stand was black like the sky, lined with little dots to create constellations. inside the globe was all of the planets (including pluto which made the brunet extremely happy). they gathered around the sun which was a bright orb in the center of everything. he carefully shook it, watching little stars shoot around the glass. "baby," he whined, pouting his lip at the male with furrowed eyebrows, "i love you so much, this is so cool. thank you, thank you, thank you!"
"aww," daniel chuckled. he cleared the scraps and trash out of the way with one large swoop before opening up his arms. corbyn gently set down the fragile snow globe and crawled over to the blond. he took his place in the younger's arms, turning his head to peck a few kisses to daniel's jawline. "my sweet baby," daniel murmured, relishing in the joy that corbyn's embrace brought him. he felt himself get tackled backwards on to the ground, the brunet falling on top of him.
"daniel," corbyn breathed.
"mmh."
"are we moving too fast?"

a/n lol i MIGHT update again but i haven't eaten all day and it's almost midnight so i'm probably gonna go beg my brother to drive us somewhere and get food :))
