The Only One [Yukine x Reader]

"Look out!" Hiyori shouted towards your quivering posture as a Phantom swung downward with it's spiked tail, making you feel the urge to move out of the way, you quickly and swiftly dodged making a run to the fence. "Tsubasa!" Yato yelled while you nodded, you disappeared into a million small white squares that danced to form a large staff while Yukine was already held in Yato's other hand. Having a small fighting stance, he readied his weapons and dodged the first attack the Phantom swung. "Ready, Tsubasa?" Yato asked before slightly crouching down as if about to jump, "Uh-huh," you answered before he jumped high into the air.

Meeting the face of the ugly Phantom, he held the staff high above his head before gravity took place as he swung the staff downward towards the drooling creature who snarled aggressively. Cutting the Phantom's head in half, it's body twirled before a crystal symbol surrounded it, ending the scene with Yukine shouting to raise his arm behind him. Yato doing so, a little following Phantom squealed in pain from behind them. "Good job you two!" Yato praised happily, ending his sentence with a slight chuckle while you two transformed back into your normal states.

Hiyori hugged tightly onto your tiny body, "You are so awesome... And so adorable!" Hiyori shouted while snuggling her head onto hers with a cat-like smile. You shyly rubbed your arm after Hiyori backed away to give you back your needed personal space, "T-thank you," you blessed as your cheeks grew a light pink while heat radiated off of them. "Aw!~" Hiyori awed while her Phantom tail swayed with happiness. "You are so cute, can't you agree, Yato?" Hiyori asked while snuggling up to you once again, "That's the other reason I caught her, and for Yukine to hang out with someone close to his age," Yukine's head perked up at the sound of his name.
