(Short little light-hearted bit)

Loud knocking was what awoke Shoto from his light slumber. He hummed, opening his right eye since his left side of his face was smashed into his fluffy pillow. "Wake up Shoto! It's Christmas! You gotta come see what Santa brought!" Kenmei called from the other side, before her footsteps could be heard bouncing off down the hall. Shoto closed his eyes, another hum escaping his lips and he exhaled gently from his nose. Kenmei knew that Santa did not exist, maybe hundreds of years ago, but she didn't believe he was alive now. A 1750 year old man who rode on a sleigh pulled by reindeer, and carrying a sack of presents for millions of children was a bit crazy, even for the child-like mind of Kenmei Jikko.

She only pretended because Shoto never celebrated Christmas as a child. So, to give him the joy of Santa Claus, she made it sound that he was real. Todoroki even heard her climbing on the roof last night, simulating reindeer hooves. This small fact made Shoto smile, as he slumped up from his bed. He wore a black sleeveless tank top and dark grey sweatpants. Shoto didn't bother with brushing his hair, leaving it a messy bedhead style. He walked down the metal floored hall and down the stairs. He heard some movie playing on the TV, spotting Sokudo and Kenmei already in the living room. Kenmei sat beside the tree on her knees, while Sokudo laid lazily on the couch.

"Morning bedhead, sleep well I take it?" Sokudo asked with a raise of his eyebrow as he scratched at his exposed abs. His Christmas sweaters fleece was itchy to his skin.
Todoroki nodded silently, yawning softly as he laid onto a comfy chair.
"Where's Chirin and Suisei?" Came Shoto's sleepy voice.
"Making hot chocolate." Sokudo answered, rubbing what little sleep remained in his dark leather colored eyes. At that moment, the two girls in question walked into the room.

"Morning Shoto, Merry Christmas." Chirin said, handing Shoto his mug filled with hot chocolate topped with slowly melting whipped cream. Her tail tickled his neck gently, earning a small giggle to come from the younger male.
"Merry Christmas." replied Shoto with a smile.
"Let's open presents!" Kenmei clapped her hands rapidly, before picking a random wrapped present at random. She looked at the name tag, and handed it to Sokudo. "It's from Shoto!" Kenmei announced with her famous bright smile.

Sokudo torn off the wrapping paper, messily at that. Suisei sighed deeply, leaving to go grab a trash bag for the paper remains. Lifting the top of the box up, Sokudo was pleasantly surprised to find a bright red scarf. Taking it out of the box, Sokudo looked to Shoto. "You knit?" He questioned with a amused smile.
Shoto nodded, a shy blush appearing on his already pale face, "Y-yeah, your scarf if old and torn up. I would have fixed it for you, but it was, as you called it, a 'lost cause '. So, I made a new one."
"Heh, thanks man." Sokudo wrapped the soft piece of long red cloth around his neck. A faint smell of something sweet arose from the fabric. Shoto always did smell like a cookie for some odd reason. Well, he does bake often.

Suisei returned, "Put the trash in here. I cannot stand this room being messy."
Kenmei held out a box, "This one is for you Suisei! It's from me!"
As Suisei began to open the box, Todoroki noticed the movie on TV was one he had never seen before.
"What movie is this?" Todoroki asked.
"It's a movie I ordered from America, Christmas Chronicles. It was actually filmed in my hometown." Sokudo answered, a proud smile on his face.
"Chicago?" Todoroki guessed, tilting his head as he tried to pronounce the name correctly.

"Yep."  Sokudo nodded, giving Todoroki a thumbs up.
Sokudo was originally from America and had fled to Japan at the ripe age of 8 years old. He had snuck onto the plane with his extremely fast speed. No one had seen him. The reason he did this? Well, that's for another time. Sokudo has been teaching Shoto how to read, write, and speak in English. Just in case they all needed to flee the country.

"This is very sweet of you, Kenmei." Suisei said with a kind smile, holding a container of sea monkeys. Kenmei then picked up another box, looking at the tag.
"This one's for you Shoto!" Kenmei held out the gift to the bewildered boy. Grasping it, Todoroki delicately untied the bow and unwrapped the paper. Todoroki hummed in a confused tone as he opened the box, which was a glasses case.  Opening it, inside were black framed glasses and the lenses were circle.

"I noticed that you can't read small print very well. If those don't help, I have changeable lenses somewhere on my desk." Chirin explained, walking over and sitting close beside Todoroki. She took the glasses, unfolded their arms, and carefully put them on the younger male's face. Todoroki flinched at first, eyes squeezing shut as his hands shifting upwards, almost grabbing at the demon woman's arm. But, he stopped himself halfway, reminding himself that she wasn't going to hurt him.

Once they were one, Todoroki opened his eyes. "Oh my," Todoroki blinked, looking around the room, and pointing to a picture about all the ways 'Hello' were said, "this actually helps a lot. I didn't know that picture had words from other countries."
"What did you think it said?" Kenmei asked, a bit surprised.
"I thought it was poorly written japanese." Shoto admitted, which made everyone burst into laughter.

"MOM!! NATSOU!! YOU HAVE TO COME SEE THIS!!"
Rei and Natsou Todoroki were awakened abruptly by Fuyumi's sudden call for them. Without hesitating, they raced downstairs to see what had happened.
"Sis! What happened??" Natsou ushered, skidding to a stop beside his older sister.
"Are you okay honey? Are you hurt?" Rei asked, holding her daughter by her shoulders from behind. Fuyumi pointed to the living room coffee table, a shocked expression on her face. Rei and Natsou followed her finger, before they two became bewildered and slightly scared.

On the table were three presents, neatly wrapped, with the three's names written on a tag. Stepping closer, Rei, Natsou, and Fuyumi took a closer look at their boxes.
"Could someone have broken in?" Rei questioned.
"I already checked, everything is like it was before we all went to bed. No signs of breaking and entering. Nothing." Fuyumi answered.

After a few moments of stunned silence, the three opened their presents. They each had a painting of themselves, which were stunning and smelled of paint and the inside of a bakery.
"Any ideas?" Natsou proclaimed. Rei and Fuyumi shook their heads. No idea. No clues. Nothing.
Who could have done this?
