Chpt 19| timeouts and playdates

Noah Pov:

I woke up and it was very dark still and I was wooking for my stuffy but didn't find it,

" mommy, fink my stuffy fell 'gain" I said trying to shake her

" baby it's 4 in the morning this is the 5th time it fell " she said making me pout

" pwitty pwease " I said whining and she groaned but still got up and gave it to me as I said fank you

Once mommy waid back down I quickly cuddle wif her as she pwayed wif my hair making me fall asleep again

Mommy(delilah) Pov:

I woke up checking my phone it was 11 o'clock and surprisingly Noah was still asleep I got up and went to brush my teeth changing into a light blue crop top and black short shorts with white short socks

I went to make Noah's bottle downstairs when the house phone rang, it was Anna,

Anna- hey delilah, ashton here has been begging me to call you and see if they could have a play date today

Delilah- of course, we actually don't have anything planned so I'll text you my address and you guys can head over here

Anna- alright thanks so much we'll be there at around 1 if that's fine with you

Delilah- it's totally fine see you then

Anna- see ya

I hung up the phone and went upstairs to see Noah in the bathroom brushing his teeth

" big boy today huh " I said making him look over and giggle
and he nodded "mhm"

" Well Ashtons coming over today and maybe you can show him your new toys " I said as she rinsed is mouth and squealed

" YESSS " he said jumping and cheering around

" well let's go get you dressed " I said as he smiled and nodded as I picked him up setting him on my hip.

I placed him on the bed and started going through his closet picking out a cute outfit

I helped him with his pants and socks, then putting his shirt on clipping his pacifier to the shirt

I was going to put his shoes on but he insisted on staying in his socks so I shrugged it off putting his shoes back

" wanna wear your pretty flower crown " I said as he nodded

we walked to the bathroom where I wet his curls alittle and put his flower crown on his head

" pretty flower crown for a pretty baby boy " I said as he blushed and giggled

By the time we headed downstairs it was already 12:30 and I was going to give Noah his afternoon bottle, i sat him on the couch watching his cartoons and went to the fridge to get his milk, I was in a rush to get everything picked up before handing him his bottle
