Mommy(delilah)Pov:
It was around 1 in the morning when Noah came poking my cheek as I heard sniffling, " what's the matter " I said sitting up to see him crying and trembling
" come here baby what's wrong " I said concerned as he shook his head, " I'm sorry don't hate me i should have listened to you mommy " he said as I pouted feeling bad,
" baby I could never hate you tell me what happened why are you crying, it's two in the morning " I said as he rubbed his eyes with his fisted hands
" i had a bad dream and- " he said sniffling as i cut him off, " did you have an accident Noah " I said as he nodded, " I should have wore my pull up like you said mommy I'm sowy " he said quietly breaking down into more sobs
" awe baby your gonna make mommy cry come on let's go get you in the bath " I said getting up and walking to the bathroom hand in hand with him.
I turned the warm water on and plugged the drain letting it fill up as I undressed him putting his wet pants and underwear in the sink, " come on get in " I said helping him in and sitting him down
" I'll be back alright " I said as he whined " don't leave me alone I'm scared " he said as I felt more bad
" all right I'll stay " I said grabbing a towel from the closet
I started washing him as he just stared into the water, " wanna talk about it " I said as he shrugged
" what happened in your dream puppy " I said as a tear slipped from his eye
" you said you didn't love me anymore, and you were hitting me like she used to and you wouldn't stop I said red over and over and you didn't stop mommy.....why didn't you stop " he said shaking hiding his knees to his chest slowly rocking back and forth as I stayed quiet not knowing what to say or do so i just leaned over the tub held him
" i will always love you no matter what, your always gonna be my one and only pretty baby, I love you so much and I would never ever ever hurt you Noah you known that, mommy loves her pretty baby and if mommy ever hurt her baby then mommy would never forgive her self do you understand" I said as he nodded and I kissed his frowned lips
" Noah I have one question, who is she " I asked as he looked at me
" my old mommy she's a meanie butt " he said as he rolled his eyes
" what does red mean " I said as he looked back in the water " red means stop " he said looking back up at me
" when mommy would give me spankie we had colors, green means I'm okay, yellow means slow down and red means stop I'm hurting " he said as I nodded, " did your mommy give you spankies a lot?" I asked as more tears ran down his face and nodded " sometimes it was for no reason and she was just mad " he said as I noticed he slipped out of headspace
"and in my dream you hurt me and you didn't stop and you weren't listening to me Delilah, she used to hurt me bad, I'm glad I found you and got away from her" he said as I smiled
" I'm glad I found you to babe " I said as he smiled and leaned into kiss me, " alright let's get you dressed " I said pulling away as he pouted
" no pouting, mommy's pretty baby doesn't pout does he " I said as he giggled slipping back into headspace " no mommy " he said as I wrapped him in his towel pulling him out and carrying him to his room
" mommy can I sleep wif you " he asked as I nodded, " alright but your wearing a pull up " I said as he pouted
" no pants " he said pushing my hands away as I tried putting his pants on, " alright how about your black t-shirt " I said as he nodded
" alright puppy let's go " I said putting him on my hip and walking back to my room
" your bed is comfy mommy, and you cuddles are warm " he said snuggling into me putting his head on my chest as I put my chin on top of his head of curls
"I love you, so so so much Noah please remember that" i said as he nodded, "I love you to mommy" he said as I smiled massaging his curls
" mommy tomorrow can we go somewhere " he asked as i questioned where he wanted to go
" uhh anywhere mommy " he said giggling, " you know Noah mommy has to go back to work tomorrow, they need me " I said
My boss called me earlier telling me to come in because she had something very important to tell me which kind of scared me but excited me!
he sat up and pouting and giving me the sad eyes, " well how would you like to come with me " I said as his frown turned into a big big smile " yes please please please " "but we gotta be there early" I said as he nodded, I looked at the time it was 2:40 we had to be up by 7:30 so we both laid there quietly
as we soon both fell asleep
