"What do you see?" Jack asks me, pointing up at the moon. I squint my eyes, trying to see anything. I don't. I don't see a single thing so I shrug my shoulders, looking over at him.

"Nothing." He pokes my nose. I smirk at him.

"I see a million possibilities."

"How can you see that in a moon?"

"The Moon," He corrects me. Then he lays down, pulling me down with him. "Because the Moon decided everything. He decides the Fates and the lives of everyone."

I turn my head to look at him again, the grass tickling my neck. "He meant for you to die, though."

"Very true. But you saved me." Jack smirks at me again. He narrows his eyes at me. "My demonic little beauty."

I roll my eyes. "Shut up."

And the night dewells on with me and Jack, holding hands, and watching the sky until it was morning, where I fell asleep in his arms. With him and me.

Together.
