Chapter 26: This is seriously not a good night for me

Song Ji Hyo's POV

Traveling together brings good old memories. Times when we forget who we are, times when we forget where we are.

"Is it here? here?" I was trying to ease the pain that Gary felt on his waist. With our position sitting side by side on the plane, you can say it was a difficult task.

I just can't help but worry about him though.

"No, a little bit more to the left. Yes, there. That's the one." After a while, he turns to look at me and thanked me.

"Oppa, how did you hurt your back?"

"I was moving some heavy boxes yesterday. When I woke up this morning, my waist started to shoot sharp pains. I had a bit of a hard time getting up."

"Why weren't you careful? Are you sure you can play tonight?"

"I'll be fine. Don't worry and besides since you'll be with me for the next two days, I'm sure all the pain would go away." He placed his head on my shoulder.

"Oppa, don't push yourself. If you still feel pain before the game starts you need to tell to the PDs that you can't play. You're just gonna hurt your..."

"Arasso, arasso... My baby's always worried. I'm really fine." This time he pulled my left arm and brought it towards him. He hugged it and smiled as his eyes closed.

I like this, I cheered silenty.

My insides started to warm up. I felt cozy and safe. I leaned my head to the left to touch it over Gary's and then snuggled closer towards him.

We seldom have overseas trips together. Even if we did, it's always about filming.

"Oppa, do you think we can go on a trip? Overseas.... Just the two of us? You know like other couples do?"

He started to yawn. "If you really want to, then I'll work things out."

"Jinja?"

"Oh.." He responded weakly. I was starting to feel his heavy weight on me.

"Thank you oppa, now sleep.. i know you're tired."

"okay..."

My eyes started to droop after a few minutes when suddenly I sensed some movements from the front seat across of us. It was Jong kook oppa and Haha oppa. They were looking and smiling sneakily at us. I squinted my eyes at them and then pulled my tongue out. They continued to laugh quietly while I returned back to our peaceful place with Gary.

They blew the whistle and the soccer game in Indonesia ended; though we lost again this year, which made me feel bad again for the team, but everyone played really well... especially Gary. He reassured me that he was fine since he took some pain killers but I still didn't buy it. I stayed close to him as much as possible in case he needed me.

After the game, we all had dinner together with Ji sung and Cha boom seonsaengnim. They talked a lot about how they improved so much compared to their last games.

We then went back to our hotel and said our good night's to everyone. Me and Gary were the last one who got into our rooms.

"Kang Gary, challga." I said and was about to enter my room when, "Jamkaman.." Gary said. I turned to him, "Wae oppa?"

He looked around the hall to see if anyone was around first before speaking. "Can't we stay together tonight?" He asked as he reached for my hand. With his touch, a sudden shock went through my body.
