splashing through
turquoise seas
gazing downwards
at ridges of corals
fiery scarletts
soft pink antlers
magenta blobs
intricately carved
with rifts and ridges
golden sponges
nestled between
violet tusks and
rocky tan corals
under the
undulating sunstreaks
blooming with life
angelfish dance in
teal seas
fluttering delicate
fins as
tropical fish
bright reds blues
dart into crevices
as my shadow
passes overhead
flashes of colors
burst from the
sapphire seas
scarlett urchins
fresh lime parrotfish
deep red crabs
olive turtles
paddling their fins
pirouetting through
shimmering seas
off the shore
of a shy beach
in my ocean
paradise
so i brought you
to my oasis
dipping legs
in lapping waves
diving through
the shining ocean
as soft sand
grazed our toes
but when i
arrived there
my vibrant paradise
i had brought you
to a graveyard
white antlers protrude
vivid colors
lavender rubies
seared away
by scorching heat
leaving pearly bones
eerie marble gravestones
my eyes dart
desperately searching
for flashes of pink
blurs of yellow
streaks of lime
but all i see
are whispering sands
swirling around
bleached corals
devoid of spirit
cracked and thrown
like ashy porcelain
my heart breaks
gazing around
monotony of blue
silent sea
skeleton reef
